Saddam Hussein:

Adnan Hamdani:

Saddam Hussein:

Qusay Hussein:
[while Saddam Hussein is sleeping] He is sleeping.

Uday Hussein:
[Toasting his drink to Qusay] To dead men, which is what we are.

Qusay Hussein:
Better dead than being captured.

Hussein Kamel al-Majid:
How can he sleep? What were we thinking, taking on America?

Uday Hussein:
Can I kill him now? No one would miss him. [Hussein leaves]

Qusay Hussein:

Saddam Hussein:
This is my country! My country!

Saddam Hussein:
What am I to do about the Kurds? Neither Arab nor Iraqi. Loyal only to themselves. And what about America? Should I say 'Thank you, Mister Bush, thank you for your credits, for the rice and grain, for your letters of friendship?' Or do I scream at them for collaborating with Kuwait, for squeezing the life out of my country? And what of my own people? We have spent our dollars on education and leave us open to attack. Do I invest in weapons and the army? Maybe I should forget my responsibilities and drink and whore like my son. Tell me why you should live, Uday. Tell me why.

Qusay Hussein:
[while at lunch with Uday and Sajida] So Mama, will you be celebrating the national holiday tonight?

Sajida Khairallah Talfah:
I doubt it. All of my children will be with their father.

Uday Hussein:
Because we have to be with him, Mama. I'd rather be at my club.

Qusay Hussein:
With your Russian prostitutes?

Uday Hussein:

Sajida Khairallah Talfah:
