Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

Sonya Blade:
[to Kano] You take the ninja, I'll take the clown.

The Joker:
What can I say? The ladies dig me.

[Sonya punches Joker]

The Joker:
Now, you don't hit like a girl. Can't we talk about this?

The Joker:
[shoots Scorpion with boxing-glove gun] Oops. Where did that come from?

Sub-Zero:
It would appear we are now allies.

Jax:
Appearances can be deceiving.

Wonder Woman:
I take it you two know each other.

Sub-Zero:
He is Jax. A formidable warrior, as you will soon discover.

Wonder Woman:
[to Jax] Well, warrior, I don't know what your universe is doing to mine, or what you are doing to this station, but true warriors don't use guns. And if it's a fight you want, you'll soon be joining your friends in a cell.

Sonya Blade:
Who's he?

Jax:
Calls himself Lex Luthor. He runs some company. Acts like he's going to take over the world.

Sonya Blade:
Looks like you put a stop to that.

Superman:
You don't fight for him.

Raiden:
Neither do you.

Dark Kahn:
Silence!

Superman:
It seems we have a common enemy.

Raiden:
And a common goal.

Dark Kahn:
On your feet! This battle is not yet over! You will fight!

Superman:
Don't give into the rage, Raiden. It can be overcome.

Raiden:
Focus. We must focus.

Dark Kahn:
What are you doing?

Raiden:
If we fight together, we can channel his own energy and use it against him.

Superman:
Sounds like a plan.

Dark Kahn:
Face each other or face me. It makes no difference. You will FIGHT!

Superman:
I'm Superman. We need to know your intentions.

Raiden:
I am Raiden, God of Thunder. With me are the mightiest warriors in all the realms. We have come to challenge you in Mortal Kombat. You will be defeated.

Superman:
Don't be so sure, Raiden. If you want a fight, you'll find my friends and I are up to the challenge.

The Joker:
[to Kano] I hope you'll put up more of a fight than blondie did. Because this Joker... is wild.

Captain Marvel:
I think I finally have the rage under control. It's all coming from this other universe trying to merge with ours. Its energy creates this terrible fury. You just want to hit something.

Green Lantern:
That's what the Guardians said. How did you figure it out?

Captain Marvel:
Their alien gods are creating interference with my powers and infecting me with their combat rage.

Green Lantern:
Great. Out of control magical alien god powers. So that would make you a danger to us and to yourself.

Captain Marvel:
None of us is safe from the rage until this is stopped. I have to get back to the Rock of Eternity to get closer to the gods and see how we can defeat this rage. There has to be a way.

Green Lantern:
Good luck, Cap.

Lex Luthor:
You lack imagination, Green Lantern. You've always had. Someone like me should have that ring.

Green Lantern:
Over my dead body, Lex.

Scorpion:
The princess. Where is she?

The Joker:
Princess? Didn't I kill the last guy that called me that? He should of known. I'm the only joker around here!

Deathstroke:
Well, if isn't this interesting. A masked man in Gotham. From the look of you, I say you're no hero.

Sub-Zero:
You do not look so innocent yourself.

Deathstroke:
Name's Deathstroke.

Sub-Zero:
Sub-Zero.

Deathstroke:
So, who are you hunting? Or are you just looking for a fight?

Sub-Zero:
It is none of your concern.

Deathstroke:
Fair enough. But I've been around this world, and I've never heard of a Sub-Zero.

Sub-Zero:
I'm not from your world.

Deathstroke:
Then you are on enemy territory.

Sub-Zero:
And I assume you are the enemy.

Deathstroke:
Smart boy.

Shazam:
This is only the beginning. You must stop Dark Kahn.

Captain Marvel:
Is that Darkseid?

Shazam:
Darkseid's essence has been fused with evil magic from another realm. This new being, Dark Kahn, is the focal point where both universes really intermingle. Its existence will turn this world into a nexus of evil. If the connection between the universes is not severed, and Darkseid's greed, the rage will reach out and devour us all. You must gather an army of both dark and light and find a champion who has defeated Darkseid in the past.

Captain Marvel:
Then we must find Superman.

Captain Marvel:
This place... such evil.

Shang Tsung:
Flattery will get your nowhere. This pathetic creature reeks of the Gods. I want whatever power he possesses.

Scorpion:
[to Captain Marvel] We are your death.

Captain Marvel:
Even with your world poisoning mine, I think you'll find Captain Marvel isn't easy to kill.

Captain Marvel:
I know what we're up against. Our enemy is called Dark Kahn.

The Joker:
[screams up into the sky, voice echoes] KAHN!

Deathstroke:
Shut up or I'll gut you.

Captain Marvel:
Darkseid's energy merged with energy from the other universe. Dark Kahn's mere existence is what causing the two universes to collide.

Superman:
That explains the attacks on me and the rest of you. The strange fluctuations of our powers.

Lex Luthor:
It was you - your heat vision. You blasted Darkseid's boomtube and sent him hurtling into some unknown universe. This is all your fault.

Superman:
You accuse me? You helped Darkseid invade the Earth! Remember?

The Joker:
Fight, fight, fight, fight!

Captain Marvel:
Both of you calm down. You're being poisoned by the Kombat Rage.

Lex Luthor:
Poisoned by what?

Captain Marvel:
The dark energies from the world merge. We can't fight them on ourselves. We need to work together to find Dark Kahn.

Catwoman:
I have lives to spare. How do we find this Dark Kahn?

Superman:
If Dark Kahn is made of Darkseid's energy, it's a good chance he's on Apokolips.

Lex Luthor:
I know where we can access one of Dark Kahn's portals. I used it when Catwoman and I escaped. If their portal can take us to Oa, it can take us to Apokolips. Deathstroke, you and Joker secure that portal. This device will lead you to the base. Report back to me when you've succeeded.

Deathstroke:
You want me to assault an enemy base with him?

The Joker:
Come on. We'll kill things, blow things up. Oh, it'll be fun.

Lex Luthor:
Catwoman, you're with me. Can't be too safe in this town. Too many criminals. Superman and Captain America, you gather your hero allies and wait for my word.

Superman:
All right, Lex. I'll trust you, for now. You get to the portals, I'll go to the Fortress of Solitude and pull up everything I know about Darkseid. No killing. If one of you steps out of line, believe me, I'll know.

The Joker:
[Pushes Deathstroke out of the way] Step aside, Death Joke.

The Joker:
I'm undefeated, unstoppable. I bet I can even kill... Batman. [laughs maniacally]

Shang Tsung:
[after defeating Superman] At least *they* were more of a challenge than your masters.

Liu Kang:
[Giving in to the Kombat Rage] Do not test me, Shang Tsung. I should've killed you at the acadamy!

Shang Tsung:
What stopped you?

Liu Kang:
Shang Tsung, your treachery ends here!

Liu Kang:
[Liu Kang and Shang Tsung fight, with Shang Tsung winning] How, how can this be? You're more powerful than before.

Liu Kang:
I was weakened when last we fought. But energies are in constant flux as a result of the merging. Now, I am revitalized, surging with power, I could finish you right now.

Green Lantern:
[Getting up] You want a finish? You got it.

[Charges at Liu kang and punches him out]

Shang Tsung:
Leave him. He is defeated. Now, you face a more dealy adversary.

[Fights Green Lantern]

Raiden:
[Mortal Kombat Storyline ending]

[Raiden is now in Shao Kahn's Palace]

Raiden:
Superman. He's gone.

[the others appear]

Raiden:
Shao Kahn's throne room. The realms have been restored.

[Then, the group hears growling]

Kitana:
Who are you?

Darkseid:
I am Darkseid! I am Dark here.

[Tried to shoot lasers from his eyes, but fails]

Raiden:
[Appears before Darkseid] If you're anything like Shao Kahn, you will find no refuge here. Your fate will be decided by the Elder Gods.

[Sends Darkseid to the Netherealm, where he is chained by two stone pillars]

Superman:
[D.C. Universe Storyline ending, Superman is in Darkseid's Palace] Raiden. He's gone.

Wonder Woman:
The others have disappeared as well.

Captain Marvel:
The rage, it's gone.

Lex Luthor:
What is this place?

Superman:
Darkseid's throne room. The two universes must have separated. Everything is returned to...

[is interupted by groaning]

Superman:

[Looks down to see what that was]

Superman:
You're not Darkseid.

Shao Kahn:
I am Shao Kahn, and you will bow to me!

[Tries to throw a green firebell, but fails]

Shao Kahn:
What?

[Superman grins and the next scene shows Shao Kahn in the Phantom Zone, as he orbits Earth in shattered peices of glass]

Raiden:
[Mortal Kombat Storyline first lines]

[Narrating]

Raiden:
The Realms are in constant flux. They shift and change like an endless dream. Shao Kahn's defeat should've marked our victory against a threatened merge of Earthrealm and Outworld. Instead, it heralded a new struggle for independence.

Quan Chi:
[Shao Kahn comes out of a portal with Quan Chi following after him] Shinnok will be displeased with your inability to take Earthrealm.

Shao Kahn:
[With great anger, Shao Kahn slams his hammer to the ground] Hold your tongue, scorcerer.

[Then, Raiden appears]

Shao Kahn:
Raiden!

Raiden:
[Using his lightning ability to subdue Shao Kahn] Your invasion of Earthrealm has violated the rules of Mortal Kombat, Shao Kahn. Your Tarkatan horde has been routed by the forces of light. Even now, your allies dessert you.

Shao Kahn:
[Seeing Quan Chi trying to escape through a portal] Quan Chi, traitor!

[Runs after Quan Chi and hits him with his hammer, than Raiden uses his lightning to pin Shao Kahn to the portal]

Shao Kahn:
What have you done?

[Then, Shao kahn disappears]

Raiden:
[Aproaches Quan Chi] Earthrealm will never succumb to the forces of darkness, Quan Chi. Now, you'll face the judgment of the Elder Gods.

[Sends Quan Chi to the Netherrealm]

Superman:
[DC Universe Storyline first lines]

[Narrating]

Superman:
Metropolis, Earth's shining example of human achievement. This is where we made our final stand against Darkseid and his army of parademons. Born in the fire pits of a distant world called Apokolips. But what seemed like victory was only the beginning.

[Having Darkseid pinned down]

Superman:
It's over, Darkseid.

Darkseid:
Don't be so sure, Kryptonian.

[Superman slams Darkseid to the ground]

Lex Luthor:
[as Superman flies down to the ground to see Darkseid pinned to the ground] Took you long enough.

Superman:
Luthor.

[Flies to him]

Superman:
You threatened the safety of Earth for your own personal gain. You aligned yourself with Darkseid.

Lex Luthor:
I was only trying to ensure humanity's survival in the event that you and your other *so called* heroes failed.

[Both Lex and Superman see Darksied trying to escape through a boomtube]

Lex Luthor:
Darkseid has acitivated another dimensional boomtube. He's going to escape.

Darkseid:
This isn't over, Superman.

Superman:
Don't be so sure.

[He then uses his heat vision to defeat Darkseid]

Darkseid:
This can't be true. You're de-stabilizing the boombtube.

[Then, Darkseid disappears]

Lex Luthor:
[ After ducking a car] I'm amazed you didn't kill us.

Superman:
Save it, Luthor. You're going to jail, but this time I'm going to bring you some place more secure than Striker's Island.

[Picks Up Luthor and flies away with him]

Superman:
Don't worry, I'll make sure your cell has a nice view of Earth.

Liu Kang:
[after bringing The Flash back to the Wu-Shi Acadamy] Masters, masters. Where are they? Why don't they answer?

Shang Tsung:
[Coming in] Because they no longer draw breath.

Liu Kang:
Shang Tsung!

Shang Tsung:
Soon, neither will you.

Liu Kang:
[after defeating Shang Tsung] May the Elder Gods bind you in another realm for your treachery, scorcerer.

Batman:
[Batman drives around in his Batmobile with a defeated Scorpion, then a doll resembling The Joker appears on the windshield and Batman stops the Batmobile before the doll explodes] I don't have time for this nonsense. [Gets out of the Batmobile]

The Joker:
No, no, no! You were supposed to die when the clown exploded.

Batman:
Sorry to ruin your night, Joker.

Batman:
[Having Liu Kang tied up in the UN Space Station] Computer, match the blood of Liu Kang with any of the known alien DNA that we have in the data base. [the computer could not match Liu Kang's blood with any of the alien DNA] Hmmm. I need to know that if I can expect anymore... [Alarm sounds] visitors.

Raiden:
[Appears] You will release Liu Kang at once. [Zaps Batman who gets up easily]

Batman:
Let me guess, you are from the same world as Liu Kang and Scorpion.

Raiden:
How is it possible?

Batman:
Insulated armor.

Raiden:
Release Liu Kang.

Batman:
First, I need answers.

Raiden:
Rlease Liu Kang, or I will take him from you.

Batman:
[after Batman defeats Raiden, Raiden gets up and goes to Liu Kang and escapes with him, then Batman sees Earth with yellow lines cutting through it] Its worse than I expected. Much worse.

Deathstroke:
[Seeing The Flash running around him] Metropolis isn't your turf. You better go back to Keystone City before something bad happens.

The Flash:
[Knocks down Deathstroke] Don't bother getting up, Deathstroke, you're going to jail.

Deathstroke:
[Gets up] Not without a fight.

Batman:
Alright, Joker. You wanted me?

The Joker:
[Coming in] Well, well. If it isn't Batman. Sorry about before, you know: the *running away*, that was rude of me. You'll be happy to know I won't be running away anymore.

Batman:
I know you have a trick up your sleeve.

The Joker:
[Checks his right sleeve] Nothing up this sleeve, let's check the other one.

[Checks his left sleeve]

The Joker:
Nope, nothing up my sleeves.

Batman:
[Becoming angry] I don't have time for this.

[Is pushed to the ground by The Joker]

The Joker:
Now, you're all mine!

[Defeats Batman]

The Joker:
I did it, I beat Batman!

[laughs maniacally]

The Joker:
I win, I win, I win, I win, I win.

Batman:
[Gets up] Not yet.

[Tazes The Joker]

Batman:
You cannot *rage* if you're out cold.

Raiden:
The Lin Kuei are not welcome here.

Sub-Zero:
[Bows to Raiden] Raiden, I've come seeking assistance.

Raiden:
Really, to what end? Your kind has challenged me before.

Sub-Zero:
Please, I am not my brother.

Raiden:
But, you are still Lin Kuei, fight!

Sonya Blade:
[Seeing Captain Marvel appear] Red, with a lightning bolt on his chest. This must be the warrior Liu Kang fought, who are you?

Captain Marvel:
I'm... Captain Marvel.

Sonya Blade:
Captain, what are you doing here?

Captain Marvel:
[Succumbing to the Kombat Rage] Confused. Please... understand, the rage. The RAGE!

Captain Marvel:
[Influenced by the Kombat Rage] The Rage will consume us all!

Wonder Woman:
Not if I can help it.

Wonder Woman:
[after defeating Captain Marvel] I need you to be calm, what's happening?

Captain Marvel:
I don't know. I try to reach out to the gods and I can't recognize what I see. The rage, you... have... to... help me.

Sub-Zero:
You should've finished him.

Wonder Woman:
Your world must be different from ours. Here, we don't kill outr friends.

Sonya Blade:
We couldn't stop them either. They overpowered us.

Raiden:
How can this be?

Kano:
There's a skinny one. Dressed in purple with green hair. Stronger than you think.

Scorpion:
I've faced him before. A jester with a twisted face.

[Then, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung appear]

Shang Tsung:
A clown? You were defeated by a clown?

Liu Kang:
It might be what you said, Shang Tsung. Powers fluxing.

Kano:
[Gives into the Kombat Rage and points at Liu Kang] I don't need you to make excuses for me,

[Then points at Shang Tsung]

Kano:
and I don't need your approval!

Liu Kang:
[Gets in Kano's way] Kano, calm down.

Kano:
[Pushes Liu Kang aside] You can't handle them, couldn't even handle me!

Shang Tsung:
We shall see.

Wonder Woman:
What are you doing on Themyscira?

Scorpion:
I am Scorpion, I come seeking the princess.

Wonder Woman:
I am Earth princess . You may speak to me, Scorpion.

Scorpion:
You're not the princess I seek.

Scorpion:
[Begins to walk away]

Wonder Woman:
You may not roam this island at will. But if you come with me, even though you are an invader, I promise that you will not be harmed.

Scorpion:
[Scorpion then sends his spear to Wonder Woman who blocks it with her wirstbands]

Scorpion:
You can not harm me, but I'll show you the meaning of pain!

Catwoman:
[after being defeated by The Flash] This is why I don't play nice with you hero types.

Kano:
[Coming in and picking up a valuable item that Catwoman dropped] Ooh. This is a bit of tardy some.

The Flash:
Alright, what's your deal?

[Then is effected by the Kombat rage]

Kano:
You don't look so good, matey.

Catwoman:
I'll take that.

[Takes the item from Kano]

Kano:
Hey.

[Catwoman then disappears in a portal]

The Flash:
Alright, hand over the gem.

Kano:
Can't, matey. She took it.

The Flash:
And you helped her escape?

Kano:
I don't like your attitude, you need to be taught some manners.

[Then Kano shoots lasers from his eyes but The Flash dodges out of the way]

Kano:
You give Kabal a run for his money.

The Flash:
My turn.

[He fights Kano and defeats him, then has Kano by the neck and is about to kill him and Batman appears]

Batman:
Who is that man, and what are you doing here in Gotham?

The Flash:
Batman. This freak, this freak tried to kill me. Now, I'm gonna return the favor.

Batman:
No, you're not. It's clear that something's wrong with you. The Flash I know doesn't kill.

The Flash:
He does now.

[Fights Batman and defeats him]

The Flash:
I thought you were a master of hand-to-hand combat.

Batman:
[Tazes The Flash] I am.

Superman:
[Appears before Scorpion] You need help, stranger?

Scorpion:
The princess. If you know where she is, you will deliver her to me.

Superman:
[Using his X-Ray vision and discovers Scorpion's true origins] Say, you're not from this universe. But, all the same I suggest you get to safety for your own well being

[Scorpion kicks Superman who goes flying and lands on a car and discovers that Scorpion has magic]

Superman:
Magic?

Scorpion:
Sorcery. Surrender the princess, or die!
