Barbara Gordon:
I take it by your surprise, you've known.

Dick Grayson:
That the bullet that supposed to kill you only lacerated your spinal cord, or that you've been alive this entire time and just forgot to mention it to me?

Barbara Gordon:
Okay, you're upset.

Dick Grayson:
And here I thought I was being subtle.

Barbara Gordon:
I can leave, it that's what you want.

Dick Grayson:
Well, Barbara, you came all the way back from the dead to see me. So, what do *you* want?

Barbara Gordon:
Deathstroke. We've been tracking his movements for months, and he resurfaced again last night. Oh, it looks like you already know that.

Dick Grayson:
Yeah. He's in Bl?dhaven. That means he belongs to me. Not you, not Bruce. He's mine.

Nightwing:
Deathstroke, right? I'm a little disappointed, I thought you'd be a little taller.

Deathstroke:
Get out of here, this doesn't concern you.

Nightwing:
Dude, I'm just here for the Baba ghanoush. So, relax.

Deathstroke:
Who the hell do you think you are, taking me on?

Nightwing:
I'm Nightwing.

Deathstroke:
You don't understand. You have no idea what these men did to me, what they made me do.

Nightwing:
Actually, Slade, I do understand. I saw your service record, before and after S.H.A.D.E. I'm sorry about what happened to you. You were a good man.

Deathstroke:
You saw what was written down. I was never a good man, I was a good soldier. They just made me a monster.

Nightwing:
It doesn't have to be that way. You're not a slave to your past, Slade.

Deathstroke:
You know, you remind me of my son, Grant. Kid, if you want my advice, what you need is...

Nightwing:
I already have a father.

Red Hood:
Dick Grayson, still pretending to be the detective.

Nightwing:
Let me guess, you're my guardian angel, right?

Red Hood:
Guardian angel? I guess you could say that.

Nightwing:
Look, I appreciate what you did for me at the club, really but, I had this covered. You didn't have to murder him.

Red Hood:
Murder? Let me ask you something when you kill a rabid animal, is that murder? That son of a b*tch was out of control, and I put him down!

Nightwing:
I don't know who the hell you think you are, but you have no right to wear that symbol.

[Red Hood removes his mask]

Jason Todd:
I've earned this symbol.

Nightwing:
Jason?

Jason Todd:
You seem a little surprised to see me.

Nightwing:
We buried you.

Jason Todd:
After you and Bruce let me die. Taught me just enough to get me killed, then sent me out in the street to use as bait.

Nightwing:
It wasn't like that, and you know it, Jason!

Jason Todd:
What's that clown still doing alive, Dick? I've got a new perspective on life, and I'm going to do what you two refuse to do, and make an actual difference.

Nightwing:
What, by killing?

Jason Todd:
I've been dead! Life isn't so special the next time around. Just stay out of my way and let me do my work. I'm not going to warn you again.

Nightwing:
Or what?

Jason Todd:
Or I'll put you down, too.

Dick Grayson:
We both know Batman can't die.

Bruce Wayne:
Batman won't. But Bruce Wayne will. When it comes, someone's going to have take up the mantle. There's only one person I trust to do that.

Dick Grayson:
I got my ass kicked the other night.

Bruce Wayne:
You made a mistake.

Dick Grayson:
I can barely stand on my own let alone...

Bruce Wayne:
You rushed in head first without knowing your enemy. You have a secret weapon, Dick. Use it. You're a detective. It's who we are...

Dick Grayson:
It's what we do.

Bruce Wayne:
You're going to be way better at this life than I ever was.

Barbara Gordon:
Be careful.

Dick Grayson:
Never.

Bruce Wayne:
Are you ready to go out?

Dick Grayson:
Bruce, we literally just put her in the ground.

Bruce Wayne:
The Joker's still out there.

Dick Grayson:
She's dead.

Bruce Wayne:
People die every day. This is the life we live: it's who we are, it's what we do.

Dick Grayson:
I'm getting so sick of this. Every single person you bring into your life gets consumed by this ridiculous vendetta you have, and look at the result! I can't be apart of this anymore.

Bruce Wayne:
Careful what you say next.

Dick Grayson:
You and I, Batman and Robin, it's over.

Bruce Wayne:
Listen to yourself, you sound like a child. Barbara would tell you the same.

[Dick swings at Bruce]

Bruce Wayne:
All the training you've done, all the good you can do, you're just going to abandon all that?

Dick Grayson:
You're not listening. You *never* listen. What I'm abandoning is you.

Bruce Wayne:
You're not ready.

Dick Grayson:
I hope you treat Jason better than you treated me.
