[Agent Reade talks to Jane Doe about Agent Weller]

Edgar Reade:
Look, I know you think I'm the bad guy because I didn't welcome you with open arms.

Jane Doe:
You think I'm a liability. I don't know what more I can do to...

Edgar Reade:
I'm not worried about you. All of us depend on Weller. He's got better judgment than anybody I've worked with my whole career. He's made split-second decisions that have saved our lives more times than I can count.

Jane Doe:
I don't understand.

Edgar Reade:
When he's around you, the guy I lean on, the guy I know... isn't there. And that scares the hell out of me.

Jane Doe:
There's nothing I can do about that.

Edgar Reade:
I know. That's the problem.
