Candy Canaday:
[looks Cathy up and down appreciably, pointing] You said he was seventy!

Joseph 'Little Joe' Cartwright:

Candy Canaday:
Well, about thirty-five very bad men hit me on the head and took that black away from me... Who's your friend?

Joseph 'Little Joe' Cartwright:
[looks at the bump on Candy's head] She hasn't said. She's been too busy calling me a liar. Come on, sit down.

Candy Canaday:
What are you lying about?

Joseph 'Little Joe' Cartwright:
I'm not lying. She just thinks I am. She's got an idea we bought that horse for Bingham.

Candy Canaday:
Bingham? [smiles at Cathy] Well now, that's gonna be very easy to straighten out. You give me a couple minutes to get cleaned up. The night's young. There's wine and music next door and when the lady's...

Cathy Fredericks:
[interrupts] Shut up.

Candy Canaday:
[turns back to Joe] She's not very friendly, is she?

Joseph 'Little Joe' Cartwright:
[shakes head] Nuh-uh. Now show her the bill of sale, will you?

Candy Canaday:
They got that, too.

Joseph 'Little Joe' Cartwright:
They got that, yeah, figures. You have any idea where they went?

Candy Canaday:
