[first lines]

Dr. Joan Watson:
Sherlock, you home? [she turns on the foyer light, nothing happens] I think we need a new bulb in the foyer.

[a man in a ski mask appears behind her]

Sherlock Holmes:
[disguised voice] You tell me where Holmes is, and I'll let you live.

[Joan gropes in her purse]

Sherlock Holmes:
[holds up a mace can] Looking for this? I'm going to ask you one last time: where is Holmes?

[Joan runs into the living room, and trips on a wire]

Sherlock Holmes:
[normal voice] That's pathetic.

Dr. Joan Watson:
Sherlock?

[Furious, she jumps to her feet and punches him in the chest]

Sherlock Holmes:
*Now* you hit me? Seriously?
