Franklin could count by twos and tie his shoes. He loved to play tag and hide-and-seek or fly kites with his friends. But one day, Franklin wanted to do the things that big kids do.

Bear:
[walking shakily on top of a fence, alongside a pile of red leaves] Whoa. Whoa! That was close.

Franklin Turtle:
Careful, Captain Bear! You don't want to fall into the Red Sea!
