[Near the mine entrance, the rescue team is gathered. Mr. Nicholson, the team leader, gives the team instructions]

Mr. Nicholson:
OK, men. We don't have much time. Bill, you take four men and go down to Area 2. Bob, you go with Jack. Elevator 4 isn't working. Maybe you can fix it. You two go to Area 7, and hurry! You come with me.

[some of the men enter the mine. Mr. Nicholson enters the control room and contacts Frank]

Mr. Nicholson:
Frank, this is Nicholson. Can you hear me? Frank, can you hear me?

[in Area 6, Frank strains to pick the radio transmitter]

Frank Thompson:
[breathes heavily] Yes... I can hear you.

Mr. Nicholson:
OK. I just spoke to the rescue team again. They're in Area 4 now.

Frank Thompson:
That's no good. I'm in Area 6. Still far away from me.

Mr. Nicholson:
I know, I know.

Frank Thompson:
Mr. Nicholson... I can't breath. There's very little air here. Please hurry.

Mr. Nicholson:
Take it easy, Frank. Everything is going to be alright.

[Gabby and Debby, who used the magic stick to travel to the mine, approach and eavesdrop to the transmission]

Frank Thompson:
[coughs terribly] Please tell them to hurry.

Mr. Nicholson:
Frank, they're coming, they're coming. Now don't talk aymore. Try to save your breath.

Debby Sela:
Look! There's a map of the mine on the desk.
