[Edward Nygma talks to his other personality in the morgue while looking down at Miss Kringle's dead body]

Edward Nygma:
[nervous Nygma] I want to know why you did this?

Edward Nygma:
[confident dark Nygma] When Dr. Thompkins walked in the room, how did it feel?

Edward Nygma:
[nervous Nygma] I was terrified. She could've discovered the body.

Edward Nygma:
[confident dark Nygma] But she didn't. You got away with it.

Edward Nygma:
[nervous Nygma] That's not the point.

Edward Nygma:
[confident dark Nygma screams, his voice beginning to echo in Nygma's head] That's absolutely the point! You can still feel the rush, can't you? Coming so close to getting caught. Knowing what you would have been forced to do if she had discovered the body.

Edward Nygma:
[confident dark Nygma's voice echoes deeper in Nygma's head] Discovered what you had done. Standing... standing at the edge of uncertainty and peering into the void. Now tell me, how did it feel?

Edward Nygma:
[confident dark Nygma begins to merge into the nervous Nygma, as Nygma closes and reopens his eyes] Beautiful.

[Edward smiles while turning on an electric bone saw, lowering it to Miss Kringle's corpse]
