Well here's the 64,000 dollar question Dr. Bob, why?

Dr. Bob:
Well, Ricky, it's the usual story: after all the bomb-testing the radiation kinda seeped through my little shelter. Over the years it's made me, different. I need radiation to live now, I can't live in the outside world, but all that's gonna change, and you're gonna help me, son. All it takes, is a little good-old-fashioned American ingenuity. Like this, I've mutated these little rascals to help me. I control them by radio to tunnel all over-or should I say, under, the state of Nevada, connecting all the underground atomic testing sites, that control the detonators.

Max:
You mean you've turned this state into one humongous thermonuclear bomb?

Dr. Bob:
Well, Rusty, it'll irradiate the whole world, and then, by golly, I can go back to the surface.

Max:
Yeah, but you'll kill everyone else on earth!

Dr. Bob:
Well yes, but you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
