Gerry Standing:

Brian Lane:
Isn't it a bit dangerous for someone with a severe visual impairment to be riding a bike in London?

Jack Halford:
She could get her white stick caught in the spokes.

[Jack and Brian laugh. Sandra walks into the room]

Det Supt Sandra Pullman:
What's so funny?

Gerry Standing:
Nothing.

Brian Lane:
Gerry's been asked out on a date by a forty-five-year-old.

Det Supt Sandra Pullman:
Woman?

Gerry Standing:
Very funny. She happens to be gorgeous.

Brian Lane:
With a thing for older men.

Jack Halford:
*Much* older.

Det Supt Sandra Pullman:
Maybe she's just looking for a man with wisdom and experience.

Gerry Standing:
Thank you, Sandra.

Det Supt Sandra Pullman:
...And she thinks Gerry might know one.
