[Bull is sitting alone in the dark courtroom]

Derelict:
'Scuse me? I'm looking for the guy who's giving away all his money.

Bull Shannon:
He's not here. Besides, the money's all gone.

Derelict:
Oh... that's too bad. I was kind of counting on him.

[starts to leave]

Bull Shannon:
What do you need money for?

Derelict:
Oh, my son's coming home from the service. I'd like to get home to see him, but it's in South Carolina. I don't have bus fare.

[Bull stands and gives him a hundred dollars - his last hundred dollars]

Bull Shannon:
Here.

Derelict:
You're the guy! [Bull nods] Gee, I don't know what to say... God bless you.

Bull Shannon:
I won't hold my breath.
