I was only 22, in a new country. A wealthy couple asked me to be their in-vitro surrogate. They paid me, provided a flat in London, a legal arrangement. But something was off. The medical tests were excessive... and I overheard the couple talking with the doctors, about a child unfettered by tradition, an advanced evolution, of some kind.
