Oh, hello. I'm Rod Blake, chief investigator for the Nevada state troopers. Most people think the branding iron is a relic of the horse and buggy age. It isn't. It's still with us in the form of the serial number on your automobile. That number on the frame and on the engine are the only proof you have of ownership. If that number is removed or changed that car ceases to exist as far as the owner's concerned - it's a favorite underworld trick. Now a hot brunette, a hot car and a cold slab in the morgue broke up the operation in a case called, "The Bride Wore Bullets".
