DI Neil Manson:
Is this about what happened with your son? Cos' you finally realised you can't hack the job aswell as being a single mother?

DS Debbie McAllister:
You'd love to think that wouldn't you? Well you'd be wrong.

DI Neil Manson:
Well surprise me... Why would you wanna give up a career and a police pension after the biggest result you've ever had?

DS Debbie McAllister:
Which means I've got nothing else to prove. You see, thats the difference between you and me. All you think about is what's here, in this office. And a big fat pension at the end of it. Well I want more than that, I wanna go out there and see what else I can be.

DI Neil Manson:
Pipe dreams Debbie. Do you really think I haven't felt like that from time to time, eh? Fed up, wanting to chuck it all in.

DS Debbie McAllister:
Atleast I've got the guts to go out there and do something about it. Whereas you just sit there with your files and your clear-up rates. No real family life. Feeling nothing except what this job gives you.
