Gregory was a dear friend, and a brilliant grifter. He made a good living conning con men. Short of George Sanders, I can think of no one I'd rather have pretend to be me.

Elizabeth Keen:

Gregory had terminal stomach cancer. So at his request, I euthanized him.

Elizabeth Keen:
You manufactured a doppleganger to reclaim your reputation.

Raymond 'Red' Reddington:
I have many contingency plans in place. This was one.
