[talking about filming love scenes with John Nettles]

Louise Jameson:
We had a lot of love scenes, and there was one particular scene where our feet were intertwined and the camera started on our feet, then came up over the duvet and rested on John's and my faces having some pillow talk. And they could see the end of John's trousers - proper gentleman: always kept his trousers on. And he started to roll them up because they could be seen below the duvet. And I said "Oh, John, don't worry. Just take your trousers off. Doesn't matter - I'm cool with that." And he said "Look, it's like this. If I get excited, I'm embarrassed. If I don't, you're insulted. So we'll just keep it a secret, shall we." Ever the perfect gent.
