Natalie, if you tell Mr. Parker, he's going to tell my parents.

Natalie Green:
Maybe they'll understand.

Annie:
You don't know my parents. You know, once when I was learning how to drive, I scratched the door on my dad's station wagon, just a teeny little scratch; to this day he flinches every time he sees it.

Natalie Green:
Annie, I didn't mean to make trouble for you.

Annie:
You know, when I first read your article it really upset me. It was like going through it all over again. But it was comforting too; I mean, it felt like there was someone out there who understood what I was feeling, and it really helped.
