Historic New Orleans - stretching from the Mississippi River to the Shores of Lake Pontchartrain, home of the gala Mardi Gras, its festive parades circumnavigating the streets through the French Quarter on what is known once each year as Fat Tuesday. New Orleans - homes, parks, playgrounds. This is a playground, the common denominator that stretches around the world. Someday, one of these kids is going to grow up to be the President of the United States, another the Secretary-General of the United Nations. Fifty will be governors at the same time. One will discover a cure for cancer, another will plant the first potato on the moon. That makes them pretty important. Meanwhile, they're growing up, their potential endless - unless, perhaps, they get hooked on narcotics.
