The Nostalgia Critic2007
Doug Walker:
On January 23, 2014 former Channel Awesome producer Justin Carmical committed suicide. This is something that has raised a lot of confusion and a lot of questions because anyone who knew Justin knew this didn't seem in character with him. It simply didn't make sense to us because the Justin that we came across and we remembered was always positive. He was always upbeat. He was always talkative. Even if you were in a bad mood or if you were in an awkward situation or if something wasn't comfortable he would always start talking. He would always try to cheer you up and try to make you feel better. And I think the reason that Justin is *really* something special is because, despite knowing what we know now, we will still remember him as this upbeat, cheerful, positive wonderful human being and that's because he has shared so much of that positivity with us. He has shared so much goodness with us. So, this is a collection of, certainly not all, but many of the times that he has gone out of his way to make us feel better. To entertain. To make us laugh and just share so much with us. So, to you Justin, just thank you so much for sharing so much with us.
