You're missing Elena's introduction.

Jeremy Gilbert:
I don't care.

Anna:
So she has no idea you read her journal?

Jeremy Gilbert:
Well, she keeps things from me, I'm gonna keep things from her.

Anna:
What are you gonna do now? Now that you know everything she's been hiding from you?

Jeremy Gilbert:
I don't know. There's a part of me that's so angry. How she covered up what happened to Vicki and, and erased my memory, but there's also this other part that's glad. I... I don't wanna remember Vicki like that.

Anna:
As a monster?

Jeremy Gilbert:
No. As someone who wanted to hurt me.

Anna:
When I met you, you were just a part of my plan to get my mother back. But then things changed. All the time we spent together. I would never do anything to hurt you. Not now. You know that, right?

Jeremy Gilbert:
Yeah, I know that.
