[putting a reassuring arm across Melissa's shoulders] She'll be okay.

Melissa Steadman:
[changing the subject, eyeing the dessert fixings] This is dessert? Make Your Own Sundae? You're reading Readbook again, Hope.

Hope Murdoch Steadman:
I'm a busy woman. You want wedding cake? Get married.

[Michael makes a sympathetic frown as he and Nancy listen to their exchange fondly]
