Wesley:
Do you love this city?

Karen:
I, I, um, haven't been here long enough.

Wesley:
Huh. I find a few days, a week at most, is ample time to form an emotional response. Growing to love something is really simply forgetting slowly what you dislike about it. I'll be perfectly honest, the situation calls for it, I do not love this city. The crush of the unwashed garbage stacked on the sidewalk, the air that seems to adhere to your skin, the layer of filth you can never completely wash away.

Karen:
Maybe you should move.

[after Wesley leaves his gun on the table, Karen summons up enough strength to grab it and point it at him]

Wesley:
[bluffing] Do you really think I would put a loaded gun on the table where you could reach it?

Karen:
I don't know. [cocks it] Do you really think this is the first time I've shot someone?

Wesley:

[Karen calls Wesley's bluff and shoots him in the right shoulder; he stares at her in shock, and she puts six more rounds into his chest, killing him]
