Matt:

Nadeem:
It wasn't that easy--

Matt:
You backed his play, Ray, you moved him into his hotel and you gave him his toys back.

Nadeem:
He was giving us information that saved lives--!

Matt:
Yeah, while he was taking lives. While he was taking over the city, you knew--

Nadeem:
Well, what the hell are you doing?! I thought you were my lawyer!

Matt:
I am your lawyer, Ray, but I can't do anything to help you if you don't answer this one simple question -- why didn't you blow the whistle when you watched your boss murder an agent?

Nadeem:
...I don't know.

Matt:
Or when you watched Dex walk in that church? You didn't say a goddamn word when he murdered a priest.

Nadeem:
I don't know--

Matt:
THEN WHY ARE WE HERE?!

Nadeem:
BECAUSE I TOOK THE DAMN BAIT! Because I didn't want my son just to see me as an average federal employee...! I messed up. I destroyed my life. My family's life. And I would do anything to take it all back again.
