[Kate and Jack get inside the cockpit.]

Kate Austen:
So, what does a transceiver look like?

Jack Shephard:
Complicated walkie-talkie.

[Kate climbs over the pilot, Seth Norris, looking for the transceiver when suddenly he takes a breath. Jack and Kate are shocked.]

Jack Shephard:
Hey! Can you hear me? [to Kate] I need that water. [He gives the pilot some water] Here. Here you go. Hey.

Seth Norris:
How many survived?

Jack Shephard:
At least 48. Does anything feel broken?

Seth Norris:
No, no. Just my head's a little dizzy, that's all.

Jack Shephard:
Yeah. It's probably a concussion.

Seth Norris:
How long has it been?

Jack Shephard:
Sixteen hours.

Seth Norris:
Sixteen? Has anybody come?

Jack Shephard:
Not yet.

Seth Norris:
Six hours in, our radio went out. No-one could see us. We turned back to land in Fiji. By the time we hit turbulence, we … we were a thousand miles off course. They're looking for us in the wrong place.
