What's your best memory of your son?

The first time he came up unprompted and hugged me and said, "Daddy, I love you."

Vern Schillinger:
Beecher, I promise not to hurt your daughter or anybody else in your family. See, I wanna believe that you are innocent of killing Hank. I wanna believe because I need to believe in something. Something besides hate. This grandchild that's coming is my last chance. My last hope. I want this kid to put his arms around my neck and say, "I love you." Because see, I never had that before.
