Dick Grayson:
Well, the mayor's happy.

Bruce Wayne:
Bringing in $5.5 million a year in new jobs will do that.

Dick:
But that creep Mockridge pocketed a cool ten million from the buyout. What a burn!

Bruce Wayne:
Maybe, but we've been searching for the Riddler for months, and he's still out there.

[Dissolve to Mockridge's residence. Mockridge, wearing a bathrobe & pyjamas, deadbolts a door while holding a shotgun, then tip-toes to his bedroom.]

Bruce Wayne (narrating) Mockridge may have his money, but he won't be sleeping well at night.

[Shuddering, Mockridge checks under the bed for intruders and booby traps, then gets into bed and turns out the light.]

Bruce Wayne (narrating) How much is a good night's sleep worth? Now there's a riddle for you.

[Mockridge lies awake, staring at the ceiling.]
