I understand the idea this quote is trying to get across, but would have liked to see it worded a little differently. The use of the word ‘judged’ in relation to the heart makes this quote an oxymoron. The heart doesn’t judge. The heart and truth are one and the same. In truth, all matters related to the heart are not judgmental. Also, this quote may lead one to believe if someone (or people) isn’t willing to show you love (or reciprocate your love) you (your heart) is judged - i.e. there may be something wrong with you, you may be unworthy or undeserving of their love or you are unlovable in general. Nothing can be further from the truth. A measure of your heart, loveableness, worthiness has nothing to do with whether or not another loves you. In fact, your loveableness and worthiness has no measure - period. Maybe what the quote was trying to convey is your willingness to RECEIVE love is just as important as your willingness to give love (regardless of whether or not love is offered to you). As a byproduct of being open to receiving as much as giving, you will notice an abundance of love shown to you but at the same time knowing when love isn’t shown to you it has nothing to do with your lovableness, value, etc.
