[after explaining why he's going out to fight] You know how old folks are when it comes to losing face. [laughs lightly] And besides that, [placing hand on her shoulder w/ a michevious grin] I'd never be able to forgive myself if my little Nanao when out to fight for me and somehow ended up getting injured.

Nanao Ise:
[sounding cross] Since when am I your 'little Nanao'? [slas his hand w/ a closed fan]

Shunsui Kyoraku:
[backed away; holding his hand] Aaah; you know I love it when you treat me bad. You're beautiful when you're heartless, Nanao.

Nanao Ise:
[bbrushing aside the compliment; clearly aggrivated] Enough w/ the meaningless compliments. If you're going then just go!

Shunsui Kyoraku:
[completely serious now] Alright then, Nanao. [sighs & looks back at her; after a few seconds, w/ a smile] Don't look so worried I'll be fine. It won't take long. [short pause] I'm just gonna go have some fun.
