[The members of the SSS are in the infirmary with Kanade, who is unconscious in bed after being stabbed by a duplicate of herself.]

Otonashi:
Will Kanade be alright? Wasn't that injury serious?

Yuri:
She's the same as us; she'll recover from a fatal injury soon enough.

Hinata:
Why was there two of her? Has this world gone completely bonkers?

Yuri:
There's a reason for it.

Noda:
Such as?

Yuri:
Don't you guys remember when we infiltrated Angel's domain?

Hinata:
Yeah?

Yuri:
Her computer had software for creating new skills. There were several abilities listed she's never used before. Amongst those skills was one called "Harmonics", which has been activated.

Otonashi:
Harmonics? What type of ability is it?

Yuri:
Didn't you see the screen? It was a skill that let her replicate herself. It's her clone.

Otonashi:
Clone?!

Takamatsu:
Wait a minute. Are you saying Angel made that skill with her software?

Fujimaki:
But it didn't look like it was an exact copy to me.

Hinata:
Unlike this one [Referring to the Kanade in bed.] she liked to fight. Why's that?

Otonashi:
Kanade only uses her powers to defend herself! That goes for her sword, too! It's for deflecting bullets!

Naoi:
I swear, you're a group of imbeciles! [To Otonashi] Of course, you're the exception, Otonashi!

Yui:
We're basically a group of morons!

Naoi:
Allow me to explain one possibility. What if that copy was suddenly created when she felt a strong and aggressive desire to fight?

Yuri:
Like back then. [Referring to the fish catching incident where Kanade had to use Handsonic in order to kill the fish.]

Hinata:
Makes sense. So the copy is simply obeying orders the original made back then?

Otonashi:
But Kanade...She's not filled with a strong desire to fight.

Yuri:
[To Otonashi] Not that I care, but you're really defending her, aren't you?

Otonashi:
Well, I feel sorry for her.

Yuri:
Fine. Whatever.

Ōyama:
So, what was the problem at hand?

Noda:
How do we fight against Angel's copy?

Naoi:
Are you stupid? It's how we vanquish her.

Noda:
What was that?! [Noda attempts to approach Naoi with his weapon, but it held back by Matsusuta.] What are you doing?! Let go of me!

Matsushita:
[To Naoi] But if she consciously made her, couldn't she make her disappear? We just need to wait for her to wake up!

Hinata:
Wait! Would she be in this condition that were possible?

Yuri:
She probably subconsciously made the clone appear. That's why she couldn't make it disappear. She had to fight it, even if it meant getting hurt.

Fujimaki:
Hey, hey, hey! Just a second! You mean if it can't disappear, we're stuck with that in our world now?

Yuri:
Oh, she may be ignoring us now, but that status will change tomorrow. If we don't act like model students, we'll have another bloody battle exactly like the one we experienced yesterday.

Ōyama:
Even though she's not the student body president?

Yuri:
Doesn't matter. She's fully inherited the will to reform us. Plus, she likes to fight. This is not looking good. At all.

Hinata:
We don't have enough time to fight back.

Yuri:
Hm...Just give me a little time.

Otonashi:
Exactly how do you want us to buy you time?

Yuri:
Go to class and pretend you're taking is seriously. No matter what, don't listen to the teachers. You'll be obliterated if you take the class too seriously. Do something else, but don't let the clone catch on. Pull through the day. I pray everyone will still be here when we meet again.
