Bruce Wayne, Dr. Thorne. Thomas Wayne's son. Did you get my letter?

Matthew Thorne:
Yes. Thomas Wayne...

Bruce Wayne:
I told you I can help with your legal costs, maybe even put in a good word with the judge.

Matthew Thorne:
Yes, but what do you get out of it?

Bruce Wayne:
Well, there is something you can do for me.

Matthew Thorne:
I knew it! I knew there'd be a catch. Sorry, Mr. Wayne. Matthew Thorne is no longer for sale!

Bruce Wayne:
I'm not looking for any illegal favors.

Matthew Thorne:
What then?

Bruce Wayne:
Something you know. Something only you can give me. [pause] Tell me about my father.

[Dr. Thorne grins and camera pans out as he ushers Bruce to resume his seat]
