(animated) Anyway, don't mind what the church thinks. It used to think the earth was flat! (laughs). It's like you know, sometimes, the Pope says things he doesn't really mean. We all get things wrong, even the Pope.

Charles Hedges:
But what about Papal infallibility?

Father Ted:
Yes.

(Ted pauses and thinks)

Father Ted:
(uncertain) Is it for everything? The infallibility, do you know?

Charles Hedges:
(shrugs shoulders) Well I don't know.

Father Ted:
(laughs again) Right, anyhow. Nothing to do with me!
