Michelangelo:
We're not gonna find anything here.

Shredder:
I must congratulate you. [enters to meet the turtles]

Donatello:
It's the same guy we fought last night

Shredder:
You passed the test with flying colors.

Raphael:
Test? What test?

Shredder:
Your hairy little friend knows me as Oroku Saki, but you may call me "The Shredder".

Raphael:
A kitchen utensil?

Shredder:
You would be wise to lose your flippant ways if you wish to join the honorable Foot Clan.

Leonardo:
Why should we want to do that?

Shredder:
Because it was I who made you what you are today. If not for me, Hamato Yoshi would never have left Japan. I followed him to this country, where I gained my advanced technology, including my rare experimental mutagen. It was I who caused you to mutate into your humanoid form. You owe everything to me! Don't deny your destiny. Join me.

Raphael:
Does the phrase "go suck a lemon" hold any meaning to you?

Splinter:
What's a matter, April?

[Bebop and Rocksteady are fighting Krang's stone warriors]

Shredder:
Stop, stop! STOP!

[Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang's stone warriors stop firing]

Rocksteady:
Oh, we was starting to have fun.

Shredder:
Shut up! You are Krang's stone warriors are you not?

General Tragg:
Yeah. So?

Shredder:
There is something I must show you.

General Tragg:
We gonna catch those kids.

April:
You got 'em! Who are they? Let's interrogate them!

Michelangelo:
It's okay April, they're cool.

Dask:
Cool? Daddio, we are frozen!

Krang:
Now, wretched reptiles, you will face... the wrath of Krang!

Michelangelo:
Wasn't that the name of a movie?

Leonardo:
I don't believe I saw it.

Raphael:
And I don't believe I'm seeing this!

Shredder:
What the devil happened? Where the devil are we? Dimension X? No!

Krang:
At last, I can conquer my home dimension.

Shredder:
But I don't want to conquer this place! I want to conquer Earth!

Krang:
In Dimension X, I am absolute master. You will do my bidding from now on.

Shredder:
The Shredder takes orders from no one!

Krang:
We shall see, Oroku Saki.

Leonardo:
(Narrating) My name is Leonardo. And right now, my brothers and I are in a mess of trouble. Our backs are up against the wall in some trash thrown alley. Cornered by the toughest street gang on the east side.

Johnny - Purple Dragon Gang Leader:
Look at the freaks!

Two Ton:
What's with the dweeby costumes?

Purple Dragon Member:
This ain't Halloween!

Johnny - Purple Dragon Gang Leader:
You're going down, freaks! Nobody messes with the Purple Dragons! Especially wearing stupid turtle costumes!

Leo:
(Narrating) He's wrong. We're not wearing costumes.

Master Splinter:
Well done, Leonardo.

Raphael:
(to Leo) Teacher's pet.

Leonardo:
(to Raph) Ninja dropout.

Michelangelo and Donatello:
Oooooo!

Splinter:
My sons! (sighs) My sons, if you are to become true ninja, you must work harder. Your path in life will not be an easy one. The outside world will not be a friendly place for you. You four are different in ways the surface dwellers would never understand. To survive, you must master these skills I teach you. Ninjitsu powers of stealth and secrecy. You must become kage; shadow warriors. And you must never be discovered by the outside world.

Splinter:
[Scene back to Splinter] Ahh. Leonardo, whatever those mechanical menaces are, they have managed to eat through the support structure of our home. [Swings back to turtles.] We must leave right away. Meet me at the old drainage junction at the south point. [Raph shoves Mikey aside.]

Donatello:
[Don takes map from duffel bag.] If we take the south conduit, it'll intersect with the old drainage tunnel.

Leonardo:
We'll meet you there, Sensei.

Michelangelo:
[Mikey runs up to brothers.] What'd he say, what'd he say? Did he mention me? [Raph shoves him again.]

Raphael:
Great, just great. The old turtle luck working true to form. [Kicks truck in frustration.] Argh!

Leonardo:
Way to be stealthy, Raph.

Michelangelo:
Yeah, I don’t think they heard you over in Jersey.

Raphael:
Give me a hand.

[Mikey starts to clap. Raph wags a finger at him.]

Raphael:
Don’t even think about it, Mikey. Ah, forget you guys, I’ll push it myself.

Michelangelo:
Hey, this is a no parking zone. Here’s your ticket [holds up paper] . . . and here’s your fine! [Kicks Two-ton and knocks him out]

Leonardo:
Nice work, Mikey.

Michelangelo:
Ha, it’s the ninja thing.

Donatello:
Ask me again when we’re winning, Mikey.

Michelangelo:
Yeah, that's what I thought.

Michelangelo:
Cowabung.. [Raph shoves him into a hole] Ahhhh, not funny Raph!

Raphael:
Oh, yes it is? [Jumps into a hole]

Donatello:
(Narrating) May not look like much, but this tin toy can chomp his way through steel and concrete like Michelangelo through a pizza. A bunch of these Mouser robots saw fit to trash our old lair and nearly turned our sensei into robo chow.

[April screams in the distance]

Don:
(Narrating) I look at these incredible machines and the techno geek in me can't help thinking 'awesome.' But the ninja in me can't help thinking 'payback'.

Donatello:
"Turtle Cave"? That is so lame.

Michelangelo:
What would you call our new digs? The Shell-ter?

Don:
Uh...how about "The Sewer of Solitude"?

Mikey:
"Terrapin Station"?

Don:
"The School for Gifted Reptiles"?

Mikey:
"The Hall of Nin-Justice"?

Master Splinter:
Ahem. We will call this place...home.

Mikey:
Hm, catchy.

Michelangelo:
(Narrating) A very wise frog once said, "It's not easy being green," but believe me, he didn't know the half of it. In the past 48 hours my brothers and I have been attacked by killer robots, had our home caved in on us, and had a serious butt-kicking ninja battle with some deadly ninja assassins, made a shell-raising escape, found a new place to live, [This is beyond awesome!] …and were attacked by even more killer robots. (April screams) Oh, and we also managed to perform our very first ninja rescue. This is the closest any of us have ever been to a human being, and it raises one very big question: [Can we keep her?]

Master Splinter:
From a battered book on Renaissance art that I fished out of the storm drain, I chose names for each of them. Leonardo. Donatello. Raphael. Michelangelo. Together they are...

Turtles:
Turtles Forever!

[Together the Turtles high five]:

Michelangelo:
(to April) Or something like that, that we all yell at once.

Leonardo:
[Jumps into room next to Michelangelo.] Your reign of terror is over, Stockman.

Michelangelo:
[Grins and grasps Leonardo’s shoulder.] You been practicing that?

Leonardo:
You like it?

Stockman:
[Looks around at all four turtles.] What are you?

April:
[Enters behind Stockman through sliding door.] They’re with me.

Stockman:
April! You’re alive!

April:
And kicking. [Walks forward to where Stockman has crawled to control panel.] I’ve got enough evidence to put you away for years, Dr. Stockman.

[Stockman reaches out and presses button. Raphael grabs him by coat lapels and shoves him back against console.]

Raphael:
That's enough!

Stockman:
Ha! Too late. I’ve recalled the Mouser hoard from their latest mission. They’ll be here any second. They’ll tear you to pieces.

Leonardo:
April...

April:
[Runs to control panel.] I’ll have to shut the whole system down.

Donatello:
I'll help.

Stockman:
You’re doomed. Listen.

[Factory door opens, Mousers march inside.]

Leonardo:
[he and Michelangelo looking through doorway to floor below. At base of ladder are dozens of Mousers, who begin climbing ladder.] April, now’s the time.

April:
Ah, the system isn’t responding.

[April looks at Donatello, who begins typing. Raphael is looking at Leonardo and brothers, doesn’t see Stockman sneaking away.]

Stockman:
[In elevator.] You should never have matched wits with me.

Michelangelo:
[Runs to elevator as door closes.] He’s getting away!

Raphael:
Let him go, we’ve got bigger problems.

[Mousers begin flowing into observation room all around them.]

Raphael:
At least we’ll go out fighting.

Michelangelo:
Actually, I don’t wanna go out at all.

April:
It’s not working!

Donatello:
Keep trying!

Raphael:
This is it. It’s been fun guys.

Michelangelo:
Even me, Raph?

Raphael:
Even you, Mikey. Especially you.

[April frantically typing. Presses a button and Mousers all freeze. Yellow lights on tops of their heads are flashing. Leonardo taps snout of Mouser with sword. It doesn’t move and turtles start cheering.]

Donatello:
Good job, April! I’ve never seen anything like that.

Michelangelo:
[Picks up Mouser.] Hah, loser!

April:
Um, guys, guys! I wasn’t able to shut them down.

Michelangelo:
They look pretty shut down to me. [Taps snout of Mouser he’s holding. Light on dome is now red.]

April:
The only way I could stop them was by initiating an overload sequence. [Smoke starts billowing from Mousers.]

Michelangelo:
[Tosses Mouser on ground.] In other words... let’s get out of here!

[Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo leap through broken window to factory floor. Donatello picks up April and leaps to floor with her in his arms. Puts her down and grasps her hand, pulling her along as they make a beeline for the exit. Mousers in observation room explode, laboratory and factory start to explode.]

Baxter Stockman:
[Running through corridor of Stocktronics.] Ha, ha, I’ve got them, I’ve got them all. [Runs into someone and falls to ground. Looks up and sneers.] You. [Pans up to where Hun is looming over him.] What do you want, Hun?

Hun:
Trouble, Dr. Stockman?

Baxter Stockman:
Trouble? [Building is shaking, parts of it falling all around them. He rises to feet.] No, no, everything is proceeding exactly as I planned. [Explosion rocks the ground.]

Hun:
[Grabs Stockman’s lapel and lifts him off his feet.] Perhaps you’d like to explain this plan to the Master.

Baxter Stockman:
[Struggles in Hun’s grip.] Ngh, let me go you brainless, musclebound idiot. Let me go. Let me go. [Hun carries him off.]

Raphael:
(Narrating) I guess you could call it fate, but I've finally met somebody as angry as I am, and he was really making me mad. My name is Raphael, and the bozo in the hockey mask is about to find out just how angry I can be!

Raphael:
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!

Michelangelo:
See Don, we can have our very own Battle Shell. I've even got a name for it. I call it "The Battle Shell"! I've got it all figured out. Turbo-boosters, double-action traction, cool secret thingies shooting out the back. We should be tricking out the armored car!

Donatello:
By "we", you mean me. And I don't have the time. There's too much to do around here. [Grabs the picture and crumples it up to toss it] Besides, where would we keep the thing?

Mikey:
We could find a place. Just think of overhauling the wheels. Please? Please please please please? Did I mention you're my favorite turtle?

Master Splinter:
[Holding two planks] Ssshhh. Leonardo is working on perfecting his Ninjutsu skills. Perhaps something you two should consider? (Turns to Leo) Leonardo, leaping split-kick! [Leo jumps up and attempts the move, but cannot do it] Try again, my son. It will come with practice.

Mikey:
(Impersonating Splinter's voice) Donatello. Donatello. If you build it, we will ride. (Normal voice) In turtle-style!

Don:
[Grabs a "Sewer Sweet Sewer" sign and hammer] Here, motor-mouth. Make yourself useful. (Mikey moans) Hang this up someplace nice.

Donatello:
(Narrating) My name is Donatello, and I'm usually into building things. This particular thing, I'd like to take apart, real fast… before it takes us apart.

[The Turtles search for the Nanobot in the junk yard]:

Donatello:
Where is that thing? The locater says it should be right here.

Michelangelo:
I know it's been used before guys, but I'm gettin' a baaaaaad feeling about this.

[The Nanobot uses stolen goods to become bigger]:

Mikey:
And now I'm getting an even badder feeling about this.

[Cut to Battle Shell, driving down the street. Shifts to interior as Mikey begins speaking.]

Michelangelo:
You know, I feel kind of bad for the little bot.

Raphael:
Little?

Michelangelo:
You know, it was kind of like a little kid.

Donatello:
[Driving.] Too bad he had such a rotten parent.

Leonardo:
[All climb out of vehicle, now parked behind April’s shop.] I’m just glad the fighting’s over.

Casey:
[Interior of shop.] Take care of me? [Door opens and Leo enters.] I only got hurt because I was saving you.

April:
[As the rest of the turtles enter and they saw Casey and April facing each other, both looking angry.] Oh, so you think I need saving, is that it?

Casey:
You twist around everything I say. Ah, women!

April:
Why, of all the myopic misogynistic--

Casey:
Jeez. [Hand hits a vase and it falls with a crash.] How can we even talk if you won’t speak English?

April:
I told you to watch the antiques, you big ape.

Casey:
This whole mess is because of you--

Michelangelo:
I think they wanna be alone.

April:
Nobody said you even had to come over here in the first place. [Scene pans out to show exterior of building.]

Casey:
Wasn't my idea.

April:
Oh, yeah?

Casey:
Yeah!

April:
Ugh!

Donatello:
(Narrating) My name is Donatello, and right now I'm learning just how long I can hold my breath. That vibrocannon is seriously messing up the East River, if this keeps up, the whole South Street Seaport could go crumbling into the water. I'd be fascinated by the technology, if I wasn't otherwise occupied.

[The Turtles show Master Splinter the symbol of the Foot Clan]:

Leonardo:
What does the symbol mean, Master Splinter?

Master Splinter:
Trouble.

Raphael:
You know something about these ninjas? Where do they come from? Who do they work for?

Michelangelo:
And what do they want with a magic sword?

Donatello:
Nope, not magic. Probably more like a self-perpetuating oscillation frequency generator.

Mikey:
Uh...in English, Einstein?

Don:
It packs a shockwave that will knock you flat on your shell.

Raph:
We gotta go after these creeps!

Splinter:
No. A wise ninja does not seek out an enemy he does not fully understand.

Leo:
But sensei, Bushido demands that we fight for honor and justice and-

Splinter:
Bushido also demands that that you honor your master's wishes. I will meditate upon this matter further. Goodnight.

Mikey:
Aww, under-grounded again!

Raphael:
(Narrating) Ever see one of those old movies where the private eye wakes up after being knocked out cold? He always says the same thing: (Ugh, where am I?) Okay, so it's not exactly original, but it's true, I have no idea where I am. Is this an operating room? Torture chamber? TV game show? Last thing I remember, I was battling a bunch of street thugs with Casey. (Hey. Where is Casey? Agh!) Okay, definitely not the game show.

Master Splinter:
A creative mind must be balanced by a disciplined body. We must learn stillness and alertness. For they are the only defense against the unexpected.

[Back at the Foot Headquarters, Stockman, Hun, and Oroku Saki are speaking. They are in front of a line of Foot Tech Ninjas.]

Oroku Saki:
[Angrily] Another operation marred by the sickening stench of defeat! No doubt you are both well aware of my extremely limited tolerance of failure!

Stockman:
[Gestures to Hun] It was his fault! This bumbling oaf let the creature escape!

Oroku Saki:
[grabs a horrified Stockman] The plan was sound. And yet your creations failed to, as you put it, "Deliver the goods." [Tosses Stockman down and gestures at two Foot Tech Ninjas, who grab him and drag him out of the room]

Stockman:
Wait, where are you taking me? [Hun smiles slyly] Take your hands off me! [The door opens] I made you! I am your creator. [The door closes]

Oroku Saki:
[to Hun] What did you learn from your interrogation?

Hun:
I've worked over a lot of tough guys in my day, but I'm telling you, these turtles never even heard of your enemies, let alone worked for them.

Oroku Saki:
Hmmm. Then perhaps they can be useful to me when the time comes to confront those enemies.

Casey Jones:
(Narrating) I guess you could say I'm having a bad hair day, and a bad head day, and a bad neck day, and a bad shoulder day, and a bad pretty much everything right down to my pinky toe day. That walking landmass down there, I have him to thank for my current full body makeover.

Hun:
Tonight's cage match championship will determine which team will win the honor of ridding the Purple Dragons of our most hated enemy.

Thug #1:
Huh? I don't get it. Who's that guy?

[Hun puts Casey's mask on his face]

Thug #2:
It's the vigilante!

Casey:
:(Narrating) But somehow, I get the feeling it's about to get a whole lot worse.

Angel:
Let go of me, creep!

Casey Jones:
Angel, wait! [Grabs her foot and takes off his mask] It's me! Casey!

Angel:
(Surprised) Casey? [Drops down from the fence] What are you doing here?

Casey:
Stopping you from making the biggest mistake of your life.

Angel:
What? The Purple Dragons? [Slightly chuckles] No, they're my posse. My family.

Casey:
But you got real family at home.

Angel:
Yeah, well who asked you, loser? If I wanna be a Purple Dragon, it's my own business!

Casey:
[Takes out his hockey stick] Until you start breaking the law. [Points the stick at the money bag on the ground] Then it's my business.

Angel:
[Picks up the bag] Yeah, well I don't see no badge on you!

Casey:
And I don't see no dragon on you. [Puts his hockey stick away] Not yet. So why don't you quit while you still got a chance?

Angel:
I ain't quitting nothing! Tonight was my first test. Tomorrow I pass my initiation. And then I'm gonna wear my dragon with pride. [Puts her hand on her chest then walks away]

Casey:
[Following her] That dragon comes with a price. You don't know what you're getting yourself mixed up in.

Angel:
(Sarcastically) Yeah, maybe you're right! [Knocks Casey down with the bag and runs towards the fence] But I can still take care of myself! [Climbs over the fence and runs away]

Raphael:
[Runs up to Casey with the other turtles] Casey, what happened? Who was that girl?

Casey:
[Gets up] Her name's Angel. I know her from the neighborhood. I promised her grandma I'd keep an eye on her. Keep her outta trouble.

Leonardo:
So she's a Purple Dragon?

Casey:
(Determined) Not if I can help it.

Donatello:
(Narrating) Here's another fine mess we've gotten ourselves into...literally. This has been one strange night, believe me, but no matter how weird it's been up 'til now, we never expected this…

Garbageman:
(to Homeless slaves) Before I brought you to this island, you were nothing but human garbage. No home, no purpose, no value. But now, I have recycled you, given you work sifting through the refuse that this city stupidly squanders to build my fortune. Behold the birth of my empire invisible to the outside world until it is too late!

The Professor:
I'd rather be a free man living on the street, than a slave in your stinking empire!

Leonardo:
(Narrating) In our ninja training, Master Splinter is constantly telling us that when given two choices, always choose the harder path. But somehow, when you're a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, the harder path always seems to choose you.

[While finishing his story about the Shredder.]

Master Splinter:
I never told you all this because I didn't want your training to be tainted by the poison of hatred. I did not want you to feel the sorrow that is still in my heart. But, now, you need to know who Saki, The Shredder, really is. He serves no great purpose, he fights no great evil. He is great evil. Any endeavor he undertakes, he does for his own selfish gain.

Leonardo:
(Narrating) Well, it took me awhile, but I managed to see Oroku Saki for who he really is, the Shredder. Of course, to get to this point, we have to fight a bunch of Foot Ninja, which wasn't easy. Then, we had to go up against Hun again, definitely not easy. But the real nightmare is about to begin; now, we have to face the Shredder, and something tells me, this is really not going to be easy.

Splinter:
Remember, my sons, even the mighty oak bends before the raging storm winds.

Michelangelo:
Huh?

Splinter:
(facepalms and sighs) Be careful and do not become overconfident!

Michelangelo:
(Narrating) Nope, you haven't tuned into the wrong show. That's me, Mikey, under the cape and cowl. The flying dude up in the sky, his name's Silver Sentry. We're in the middle of our first superhero type team up - he just doesn't know it yet. You'd think an earthbound turtle like me would have a rough time keeping up with a guy who can soar through the sky like an eagle, and you know what? You'd be right.

Splinter:
The two greatest weapons at the ninjas’ disposal are placement and surprise. Tonight we perfect a move that utilizes both. Leonardo! Invisible Flying Dragon!

Leonardo:
[rises, bows, and leaps over his father.] Hi-yah!

Splinter:
Raphael!

Raphael:
[does the same maneuver.] Hah!

Splinter:
Donatello!

Donatello:
[leaps over his father.] Hi-yah!

Splinter:
Michelangelo! [Michelangelo is busy scribbling in a notebook and ignores him.] Michelangelo? [uses his walking stick to rap Michelangelo on his shell.]

Michelangelo:
Yow!

Splinter:
What are you doing?

Michelangelo:
Uh, nothing. [holds the notebook behind his back.]

Raphael:
Oh, yeah? Let me see. [grabs it out of his hand.]

Michelangelo:
Hey! Give it back!

Raphael:
Ha, ha!

Michelangelo:
Come on guys...

Donatello:
Keep away!

Raphael:
[tosses it to Donatello.] Keep it away!

Donatello:
Keep away!

[Michelangelo runs from one to the other trying to grab the notebook. He jumps up to try and catch it, but Leonardo leaps and gets it instead.]

Leonardo:
[opens the notebook.] Hey, check this out.

[Leo, Donnie and Raph scrutinize Mikey's Super Turtle costume sketches, mocking]

Raphael:
What's this, the "Nin-Justice League"?

Donatello:
More like the "Shell-Tastic 4"!

Leonardo:
"The Legion of Sewer Heroes"!

[Don, Leo and Raph start laughing]

Michelangelo:
Well, hardy-har! Even our levelheaded leader gets a funny in.

Leonardo:
You’re not really serious about this superhero kick, are you?

Michelangelo:
[grabs the notebook from his brother.] Why not? Superheroes never have to hold back because they’re scared someone’s gonna see them. And wouldn’t it be nice to get a little credit for the good we do?

Splinter:
Your intentions are noble, Michelangelo. But you must never forget who you are. You are ninja! You operate in the shadows.

Michelangelo:
But can’t we accomplish so much more out in the open?

Splinter:
There are many paths, my son. You must choose the one that is true to yourself. Now let us return to our training.

Michelangelo:
(Narrating) What, you might ask yourself, would any sane turtle be doing in an abandoned subway tunnel deep under the city? A tunnel so decayed, it's going to collapse from just one little noise, and a huge weird thing howling at us at the top of its lungs. Funny, I'm asking myself the same question.

[The Turtles see something trigger the sewer tunnel alarm]

Donatello:
Whoa!

Leonardo:
What in the?

Raphael:
Sewer rats are getting' bigger.

Michelangelo:
Yeah, time to cut the cheese!

Leo:
[facepalms]

Mikey:
That's not what I meant.

Raphael:
Hey, what do you get when you cross a turtle and a chicken? Mikey.

Michelangelo:
Nope, nothing, let’s go home. [They ignore him and keep following the tracks]

Raphael:
You think that thing survived?

Michelangelo:
Know your monsters, Raph. It can melt rock!

Raphael:
Oh, yeah. Maybe I forgot because I was trying not to get buried in a COLLAPSING SUBWAY TUNNEL!

Leonardo:
Everybody calm down! Let’s keep moving.

Michelangelo:
COWABUNGA!

Raphael:
Mikey, I told you. No more cowabunga.

Donatello:
Looks like this energy field only effects living tissue.

Raphael:
Too bad that’s exactly what we’re made out of!

[The Turtles hear growling noises]

Michelangelo:
So there's always one guy in the monster movie who freaks out 'cuz he can't take the pressure and I'm gonna do an impression right now and it goes something like this... GET ME OUTTA HERE!

[Mikey proceeds to run away]

Donatello:
(Narrating) My name is Donatello, and as a turtle of science, I like to investigate things. But I never thought my study of the strange crystals we found in our lair would awaken creatures from the underground, lead us on a search deep below the Earth, or take us to an abandoned Foot Genetic Lab where terrible things were done in the name of the Shredder.

Foot Scientist/Michelangelo:
There are some things man was never meant to tamper with.

Mikey:
That's the one line in a monster movie you don't wanna hear.

Don:
(Narrating) As a turtle of science, you wouldn't think I'm the type to believe in monsters, but you'd be wrong, dead wrong.

Michelangelo:
You know the corner hardware store has a sale on generators that would really get this force-field humming, so I'll just go up top and clip the coupon and then, oh . . .

[As Raphael grabs Michelangelo's arm taking him with the others]

Raphael:
(Narrating) Meet Stone Biter, Razor Fist and Quarry. They may look like monsters, but these poor souls were once ordinary people 'til the Shredder's mad scientists performed horrible genetic experiments on 'em. Experiments that will eventually leave them mindless like these other examples of Shredder's handiwork. The only thing keeping Quarry and his pals safe is a crystal powered force field, but now the crystal's all burned out and the only place to get another one is the Forbidden Zone.

Quarry:
Something unspeakable dwells there amidst the crystals, it is a forbidden place.

Raph:
(Narrating) But we have no choice, so we all head down there anyway and that's when all shell breaks loose.

Donatello:
Hey?

Raph:
Donnie! (Narrating) Suddenly Donny's gone and I swear someone's gonna pay.

Donatello:
(Narrating) Being a Ninja Turtle, I've seen a lot crazy things in the past few years, but this really takes the prize. At first, I thought I was dreaming, then I wished I was. But this was no dream, this was definitely a nightmare.

Leonardo:
(Narrating) There are times in your life when you draw on everything you have. Times when you reach down into the deepest part of yourself. When you know you gotta give it your all, because anything less won't get the job done. It's in times like these that you find out who you really are. That is, if you live long enough.

[Donny and Raph are watching a football game.]

Raphael:
Panthers, rams, bears--they've even got dolphins! You'd think they'd have room for something more... reptilian.

Don:
The Turtles? My friend, unfortunately the lowly turtle has been saddled by society with the stereotype of being "velocity challenged."

[Pauses]

Raph:
Say what?

Splinter:
(Narrating) The worst has come to pass. My son Leonardo was out on a training exercise when he was ambushed and chased across the city by the dark forces of the Foot. He was returned to us broken and battered, only to deliver a terrible message.

Leo:
He's back… The Shredder.

Splinter:
(Narrating) I had foolishly thought the worst had come to pass, but now I fear it is yet to come.

The Shredder:
You freaks have been a thorn in my side long enough. No one opposes the Shredder. And now I will have my revenge for our last encounter. Say farewell to each other -- while you still can.

Michelangelo:
Oh yeah, Mr. Spikey-Pants? Well, you’re the one who should be saying... uh... farewell to, um… to yourself!

Raph:
(Being sarcastic) Oh yeah, Mikey. That got 'im.

The Shredder:
(Narrating) My revenge is complete. My hated enemies thought they had destroyed me, but I am not so easily destroyed. I was merely biding my time, awaiting the right moment for my ninja forces to strike.

Donatello:
Leo?

Shredder:
(Narrating) And they struck hard. They herded my enemies to me like sheep to the slaughter. And even though allies foolishly came to their aid, my enemies were forced to make a cowardly retreat. But vengeance was mine, nonetheless. At last, the turtles are no more!

Michelangelo:
(Narrating) It is said that a terrible monster roams these woods. A creature from a forgotten age that brings terror and fear in the dark of night. Yes, there's a terrible monster roaming these woods, [And it's me, booga booga!"]

Raphael:
(Narrating) Someone once said, "The only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys." Well if that's true, then I think I just became a man. Or at least an Adult Mutant Ninja Turtle. This particular playroom happens to belong to our sworn enemy, Oroku Saki a.k.a. the Shredder. The dudes with the disappearing act, they're called Foot Tech Ninjas—quick to act, tough to beat. We've been fighting our way up, floor by floor, to the top of Shredder's skyscraper of evil. It's kind of like a video game with lots of different levels, only there ain't no earning extra lives in this game.

Donatello:
Welcome home, everybody.

Leonardo:
Ahh, just like we left it.

Raphael:
Cool.

Michelangelo:
Home sweet home.

[Michelangelo and Casey come out of the kitchen. Casey is drying his hair with a dishtowel]

Michelangelo:
Are you thinking what I think you’re thinking?

Donatello:
I think he’s thinking what you think he’s thinking.

Raphael:
If he’s thinking what I’m thinking, then I’m thinking we shouldn’t just be thinking. [to Casey] What do you think?

Raphael:
(Narrating) I gotta hand it to Donny. His camouflage system kept our lair hidden from Shredder's goons while we were outta town.

Donatello:
Welcome home everybody.

Raph:
(Narrating) And when we decided to mount an all out assault to finish off the Shredder for good, it was Donny who figured out how to do it. He used the Battle Shell as a decoy to get us into Shredder's high-rise of evil undetected.

Hun:
What? Empty.

Raph:
Nice remote control work, slick. (Narrating) Then he had some techno geek idea how to transfer the computer system controls to April while the rest of us engage in some serious butt-kicking ninja action. We had our hands full with the Foot Tech Ninjas, once again, Donatello's smarts helped finish them off.

Donny:
Instant short-circuit.

Raph:
(Narrating) But not even big-brained Donny could've be prepared for what we face next.

Michelangelo:
Did Shredder just wake up one day and say "I'm going to make some clones of myself! Really ugly ones!"

Leo:
(Narrating) When we decided to return to New York and face the Shredder, we knew it wasn't going to be easy. It was gonna take everything we had and then some. But what we didn't know, what we couldn't have foreseen, was that fruitcake Baxter Stockman…

Baxter Stockman:
In the flesh.

Leo:
(Narrating) …Turning himself into some kind of ultra cyborg. Nevertheless, we have come here prepared to fight to the finish and that's exactly what we're gonna do.

The Shredder:
Ah, the power, I have almost forgotten! The Sword of Tengu! The sword in which I'd laid villages to waste, brought castles to ground, vanquish armies! The sword that I used to conquer Japan and give power to the Tokugawa clan! It is mine once more!!

Raphael:
(Narrating) Man is this gonna be a long night. Two major problems: the first, is these guys, your basic criminal-type thugs, which normally wouldn't be a problem at all.

Thug Leader:
Hand him over, now.

Raph:
(Narrating) Except for the second problem…

Kid:
Come and get me, creepo!

Raph:
(Narrating) Some old guy once said, "Anybody who hates kids and dogs can't be all bad." Like I said, it's gonna be a long night.

Raphael:
MASTER SPLINTER! WHERE ARE YOU?! [echoing]

Raphael:
[after catching up with Tyler after he ran off; twirling one of his sais] You can't sneak away from a ninja, kid.

Tyler:
Leave me alone!

Raph:
And you can't go messin' with those mob goons on your own. You're just a kid. You're gonna get hurt.

Tyler:
I told you I'm not a kid. And you're not the boss of me.

Raph:
Oh yeah?!

Tyler:
YEAH!

Raph:
OH YEAH?!

Leo:
(Narrating) The roar of the crowds, the smell of the greasepaint, the death defying thrill of the high-wire. Trust me, this is no circus and if you think it's tough for a Turtle to walk a tightrope, try four. If we fall, we're pavement paint, but if we make it, we just may finally find our missing Master Splinter. We also might learn the answer to a secret that's plagued us our entire lives—how and why we became Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

[Donatello has just distracted a security camera at TCRI with a pigeon finger puppet.]

Michelangelo:
I don't know what's scarier: the fact that that worked, or that Don carries around a pigeon puppet.

Raph:
(Narrating) Here's what happened so far, try and keep up. After we wiped the floor with Shredder and his Foot fungus, we realized someone had taken Master Splinter. I tell you, we turned this city upside down looking for him, but he was nowhere. Then Donny had a thought.

Don:
What about the Guardians? If you think about it, right after Splinter disappeared, they disappeared.

Raph:
So we lured one of the Guardians into a conversation. [Our Master's missing, we intend to find him.] We knew the guy had answers, but he wouldn't talk, so we planted a Turtle tracker on him. We shadowed him into this plain-looking building and knew we'd need help getting inside. We got Casey to create a diversion by going nutso in the lobby.

Casey Jones:
Now I wanna see the head geek or I'm gonna take this place apart!

Raph:
(Narrating) He was a natural choice. And this allowed April to sneak into the security control room to deactivate the alarm sensors. She found us the only way in way up on the ninth floor.

Donny:
Some kind of hologram.

Raph:
(Narrating) But as usual, nothing ever goes as planned.

Donny:
Mikey, wait.

Mikey:
Whoa… uh oh. Yow!

Donny:
Mikey…

Donny/Mikey:
Ahhh!

Things Change:
This marks the debut appearance of Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello and their master and father Splinter, the Purple Dragons, and of course The Shredder the leader of the Foot Clan.

[after Raphael wins a sparring contest] Yame! You all did very well.

Raph:
But I did better.

Splinter:
This is about self-improvement, Raphael, it is not about winning and losing.

Raph:
I know, sensei, but I won and they lost. [Splinter pinches a painful pressure point on Raph's neck] Aah, aah, aah! But, what's really important is that we all did our best. GOOD JOB, EVERYONE!

Splinter:
Heh, heh, heh.

Splinter:
You were not fully prepared for what was up there. I trained you to fight as individuals, not as a team. And as your teacher, your father, the responsibility for that is mine. Perhaps in another year we can try again.

Donnie:
A another year!? Has everybody forgotten that people were kidnapped!? They don't have a year! Sensei, we have to do something now! You weren't there, Sensei. You didn’t see the way that girl looked into my eyes. She was scared and she's counting on me- I mean us- to save her.

[Splinters turns to stare at the black-and-white picture of himself, his wife Tang Shen, and their infant daughter Miwa]

Splinter:
Yes. You must save her.

Leo:
I agree, Sensei, but in that fight we weren't actually a well-oiled machine.

Mikey:
Like that robot with the brain thingy.

Raph:
Give it a rest.

The Turtles:
Whoa.

Leo:
So that's the...

Donnie:
...Mutagen that turned us all into what we are now.

Mikey:
Let's drink some!

Raph:
What!? Why would you do that!?

Mikey:
'Cause if you mutate a mutant, you get a super mutant!

Donnie:
Or a pile of goo on the sidewalk.

Raph:
Either way, it's an improvement.

Leo:
Guys, this is huge. Whoever kidnapped those people are somehow connected to what happened to us 15 years ago.

Raph:
[to his pet turtle Spike] I know you're a little worried about me. Look, I'm not gonna lie to you. We've never gone into a fight like this, and I don't know what's gonna happen. But you don't have to worry. I will make it back. I love you, man.

[Raph then turns around in shock to see Mikey, who has heard his every word.]

Mikey:
Awww. Are you talking to your pet turtle?

Raph:
No! Shut up!

Mikey:
That's adorable!

Raph:
Oh, I'm gonna crush you! [chases Mikey with a wooden spoon] I'm gonna shellac you!

Leo:
There's so much riding on this. What if something goes wrong?

Splinter:
Failure is a possibility all leaders must face, Leonardo. It is something I had to face in Japan during my battle with my old enemy, the Shredder. Years ago, Oroku Saki, as Shredder was called then, had been my friend. But the love of a woman came between us. He could not accept it and his jealously turned outward in a vengeful attack. And although he could not defeat me that day, my world burned and crumbled around me, as the battle took the life of my beloved Tang Shen. And I lost my baby daughter, Miwa.

Leo:
But that's my point, Sensei. You lost everything.

Splinter:
I lost many things - my family, my home, my name. But I gained many things as well, like the 4 of you.

Leo:
Don't worry. We can handle this.

[Just then, Mikey runs by with a metal pot on his head, screaming. Raph is still chasing him with a wooden spoon.]

Raph:
[angry] GET BACK HERE!

[Leo and Splinter sigh.]

Splinter:
[clearly not liking what he just heard] Not only did Raphael alert the Kraang, but you got caught... [glares at Raph] on video!

Raph:
[defensively] Sensei, he was the angriest, nastiest guy you ever met!

Mikey:
Except for you. [Raph slaps him] Ow!

Raph:
You should've heard the insults this guy was throwing at us. They were so... insulting!

Splinter:
[sarcastically; not buying this excuse] Oh, I did not realize he said mean things. Of course, you had no choice but to jeopardize your mission!

Mikey:
[mockingly] Buurn. [Raph grits his teeth]

Splinter:
You are ninjas. You work in the shadows, in secret. This becomes difficult if there is proof of your existence in high definition!

Raph:
[trying to talk his way out of it] Look, we know where this guy lives. All we gotta do is find him and shake him 'till the tape pops out.

Donnie:
Oh, there's no tape. Video phones use flash memory and-- [Raph growls like a bulldog in annoyance]

Splinter:
Anger is self-destructive.

Raphael:
[side commenting disrespectfully] I always thought it was... others-destructive.

Splinter:
[sternly; fed up with Raph's attitude and disrespect] Raphael! Stand up.

Mikey:
Somebody's in trouble~...

Raph:
Who does Leo think he is? So what if I got a temper? I’m still the best fighter we’ve got. In fact, if anything, my anger makes me a better fighter. You understand me, don't you, Spike? Chew on your leaf if you understand me. [Spike chews on leaf] Yeah, I thought so.

Splinter:
[suddenly walks in] I understand you too.

Raph:
[scared out of his wits] Seriously, you gotta knock or something!

Splinter:
Raphael, let me tell you a story.

Raph:
[tiredly] Sensei, I'm not really in the mood for a story.

Splinter:
Spike, chew on your leaf if you're in the mood for a story. [Spike chews on his leaf] Very well. When I was a young man, I fell in love with a woman.

Raph:
[sarcastically; pretending to check the time] Oh, hey, is it that late already? [tries to leave]

Splinter:
[firmly] Sit! [Raph sits down in defeat and he continues] Her name was Tang Shen, and I was not the only one who loved her. There was another man competing for her attention, Oroku Saki.

Raph:
Shredder.

Splinter:
One day, he insulted me in front of her. He called me many things. I felt I couldn't let those insults go unanswered. I lost my temper, and over time, our rivalry festered into hatred. Until Shredder sought to finish me. And I lost my beloved Tang Shen.

Raph:
[lost for words; unsure of how to react] But... But it wasn't your fault. Shredder insulted you, you... You had no choice.

Splinter:
[through gritted teeth] "No choice"? I could have chosen to ignore him, I could have chosen to let his words wash over me, like a river over stone. [shamefully] But I let him anger me, it was I who made his words into weapons. That's the choice I made. What choice will you make?

Mikey:
I'm returning Mittens to her owner.

Raph:
Are you an idiot? Wait, let me rephrase that. You're an idiot!

Donnie:
You can't show yourself to a human.

Mikey:
Why not?

Donnie:
Because they'll freak the heck out, that's why not.

Mikey:
No they won't. I'm not so scary.

Raph:
You're an ugly, green mutant armed with ninja weapons.

Mikey:
Look, this guy is gonna see that I'm just a regular cat-loving dude like him. The next thing you know, we'll be best buds! This is gonna be awesome! [jumps down, despite his brother's protests, to the owner of the cat's balcony]

Mikey:
Hi! Here's your--

Cat Owner:
[screams in horror] Ugly, green mutant freak!

Mikey:
But I got your cat!

Cat Owner:
Help! He's got my cat!

[Splinter sees Leo sweep Raph, giving him a flashback to when Shredder used that move on him. Cut back to reality]

Splinter:
Where did you learn that!?

Leo:
Mikey learned it from his new friend.

Splinter:
The man who taught him that kata is no friend! It comes from the Shredder.

Donnie:
Shredder?

Leo:
You mean Bradford is one of his students?

Splinter:
He must be!

Leo:
So Bradford's just pretending to be Mikey's friend to get to you!

Raph:
Oh, man. Everything makes sense again. [realizes] Mikey's in trouble!

Splinter:
[in disbelief] How many times have I told you not to skateboard in the lair?!

Michelangelo:
None, Sensei.

Splinter:
[annoyed] I shouldn't have to tell you!

Splinter:
And where have you been?

Raph:
Nowhere?

Splinter:
How did you get so hurt?

Leo:
Oh, that. Well, uh, we were...

Raph:
Hit...

Donnie:
By a...

Mikey:
Bus?

Donnie:
[whispers to Mikey] Hit by a bus?!

Mikey:
Well, what was I supposed to say, meteor, cow, flying building?!

Mikey:
Excuse me, Sensei, but ninjas never had to go up against guys in armor. [sees paintings, corrects himself] Oh, I mean ninjas always had to go up against guys in armor.

Raph:
Nice save.

Leo:
Sensei, what was their secret?

Splinter:
They understood that you do not fight the armor, you fight the man inside.

Mikey:
[Turtles stare at him who looks at them] Why are we all looking at each other?

[Splinter brings Donatello a new Bo-Staff]

Raphael:
Look, Spike. Donnie got a new stick to break.

Don:
With all due respect Sensei, I can't keep fighting alien technology with a six-foot staff. I was hoping to upgrade my weapon.

Splinter:
Hm... a seven foot staff. Interesting.

Donnie:
No, I meant using modern technology.

Splinter:
Ah, a solar-powered staff.

Donnie:
I'm serious, sensei.

Splinter:
I know. And yes you may upgrade your weapon.

Donnie:
That's totally unfair! You can't just--Did you just say yes?

Splinter:
Ninjas have improved their arsenal for decades. We are masters of adaptation.

Donnie:
[Watching April through the monitor] Look at her. She's so beautiful. On this monitor, she can't even tell I'm staring.

April:
You do know that's not muted, right?

Metalhead (Donnie):
Ahh! Of course. I mean, if it was muted, you couldn't hear me joking. [Smacks his head and presses a button on the controls. Metalhead's megaphone activates] Man, I hope she bought that.

April:
That's the megaphone.

Metalhead (Donnie):
[With the megaphone] I know![Turns megaphone off] So, how do you think the fight's going?

Donnie:
BOOYAKASHA!

Mikey:
Sounds weird when he says it.

Raph:
Sounds weird when YOU say it.

Mikey:
Nice job, bro!

Leo:
Way to go, Donnie.

Raph:
Yeah, not bad, except for that part where you built the thing in the first place, and the part where it broke, and the part where it tried to kill us, and the part-

Donnie:
[exasperated] Okay, I get it!

April:
Careful, Donnie, that's a dangerous mutant!

Donatello:
That makes two of us!

Splinter:
April, it seems you have a rare gift - a sensitivity I have trained my entire life to develop. I would like to train you to be a kunoichi, a female ninja.

April:
Wow. That's quite an honor. If I do this, does that mean I can kick everybody's butt?

Splinter:
We do not believe in using our abilities that way.

April:
Oh, sure. But I could, right?

Splinter:
Yes. But it will the most difficult challenge you have ever faced. It will drain you physically, mentally and spiritually.

April:
Can't be worse than high school.

Donatello:
Are you saying turtles are slow?

Michelangelo:
That's a hurtful stereotype.

Leonardo:
Trust us, April, we are better keeping a low profile. We figured out people treat us better if they don't know we exist.

April:
Sorry, I'm just so excited to finally get you out of the sewer for a change.

Raphael:
What are you talking about? We go out all the time.

April:
Yeah, but tonight you're gonna do something besides hitting people.

Raph:
[disappointed] Aw...

Leo:
Okay, he's strong, so speed and stealth are essential. Okay, everybody know the plan? [Raph and Donnie nod] Mikey?

Mikey:
Yes.

Leo:
Are you sure?

Mikey:
Yes.

Leo:
Tell me what it is.

Mikey:
[thinks for a moment] Um, maybe we should go over it one more time?

April:
Don't worry. You're going to love this noodle place I found.

Don:
[nervous] And you're sure we'll be welcome?

April:
Oh, yeah, Mr. Murakami doesn't care what you look like. In fact, he won't even know what you look like. He's blind.

Mikey:
Awesome! [Raph slaps him] I mean, for us, obviously.

April:
[acting] Here I am, walking around in the big city, all alone! Oh, I sure hope no crazy pigeon man sneaks up on me! That would be the last thing I'd want!

Donnie:
What are you doing?

April:
You wanted me to be bait, I'm bait!

Donnie:
That's not how bait talks!

April:
How do you know how bait talks?

Donnie:
I know bait doesn't talk back!

Leo, Raph and Mikey:
Oooooooh!

Mikey:
Oh, no, you didn't!

Shredder:
Your skills are impressive. But they will not save you.

Donatello:
Oh, man. You think that's the Shredder?

Raphael:
Well, it's definitely a Shredder.

Shredder:
There is undoubtedly a fascinating story as to how my old nemesis came to teach ninjitsu to four mutant turtles. Perhaps I will let one of you live long enough to tell it.

Leonardo:
You're gonna have to catch us first! Mikey!?

Mikey:
So long, sucker!

Splinter:
You were all very lucky.

Raph:
I think we define that word differently, Sensei.

Mikey:
He was just so fast.

Donnie:
It was like he was everywhere at once.

Leo:
You were right about us being overconfident, Sensei. There's just some things we're not ready for.

Splinter:
Perhaps, but that no longer matters. It is clear now that the Shredder is a problem that will not go away. So prepare yourselves, my sons, because as of this moment... we are at war.

Donatello:
[Panting, turns to Master Splinter] Sensei, can we rest for a sec?

Splinter:
Rest? Hm. The Shredder will not rest... until you are all dead!

[Leo is watching Space Heroes. Just then, Raph turns the TV off with a shuriken.]

Leonardo:
What? Hey, what are you doing?!

Raphael:
Oh sorry, it was Spike's idea. He said Space Heroes is too stupid for him.

Leonardo:
That's saying something, considering he hangs out with you all day.

Raphael:
Oh, nice going, Leo. You made him angry, so I'm gonna mop the floor with your face!

Leonardo:
Alright, Raph, cool off.

Michelangelo:
I can help with that! [throws a water balloon at Raph's face, splashing him with water] Dr. Prankenstein strikes again!

[Raph comes up to him, furious.]

Michelangelo:
Dude, you should see your face right now. You look so mad!

Raphael:
Okay, Spike, you'll like this show. It's called "Does Mikey Bend that Way?"! [chases Mikey as he screams] Come here, you!

Leonardo:
Mikey! Throw the water balloon!

Michelangelo:
Uh, what water balloon?

Leonardo:
The one you were gonna hit me with!

Michelangelo:
[looks at the water balloon behind his back] Dude, you are good. [Throws the water balloon, Leo and Mikey take cover, and the van explodes in seconds.]

Leonardo:
Nice shot, M - [Gets hit by Mikey's water balloon.]

Michelangelo:
Doctor Prankenstein for the win!

Leonardo:
You had two? Where do you keep them?

Splinter:
No training today... [the Turtles cheer] unless Michelangelo throws that balloon.

[Raph, Donnie and Leo turn to see Mikey about to throw a water balloon. He laughs nervously.]

Raph:
You are so gonna get it!

[Mikey's brothers tackle him to the ground, making him scream in agony]

Leonardo:
Look, guys, Raph and I may be better fighters, but you´re still an important part of this team.

Donatello:
[annoyed] As important as you two?

[Leo and Raph look at each other.]

Leo:
Humm... Very important. We shouldn't compare ourselves. It's like apples and oranges.

Raphael:
[Muttering] Yeah, if apples were way better, which they are.

Don:
So, the truth comes out.

Michelangelo:
You guys think of us as some kind of... B Team!

Raph:
Good one, Dr. Namenstein. We'll call you "The B Team"!

Mikey:
Thanks. I mean, hey!

Fishface:
If I weren't stuck in here, I would have caught Splinter by now!

Dogpound:
But you are stuck in there. [starts tapping the glass in Fishface's fish tank, creating vibrations]

Fishface:
No-no-no-no! Stop that! Stop that! Ow! Ow! Stop it! Ow! Stop it!

Dogpound:
[laughs] I'm sure you'll have your chance to shine one of these days. Master Shredder might get hungry for sushi.

Fishface:
Why don't you get in the water and say that!

Shredder:
Enough, Xever! Bradford is right, you are useless to me this way! [to Dogpound] I'm counting on you, find me information I can use, or Xever won't be the only one missing his legs.

Leonardo:
We are not taking that monster home with us!

Michelangelo:
He's not a monster! He's a giant, Kraang-crushing, mutant alligator monster! [realizes what he just said] I just said "monster", didn't I?

Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo:
Yeah.

Mikey:
Well, you know what I meant!

Raph:
I thought you meant "monster".

Donatello:
Yeah.

Leo:
Mm-hm.

Mikey:
Hey, guys! Leatherhead is totally off the chain.

Raph:
You mean you set him free?!

Mikey:
No, off the chain means he's cool. [his brothers sigh in relief] And that's why I set him free. [his brothers gasp]

Donnie:
You let that maniac loose?! Maybe you forgot that he grabbed me by the face. So I'll remind you: he grabbed me... BY THE FACE!!!

Raph:
Relax. You've been hurt worse since.

Donnie:
But we're still chaining him up, right?

Splinter:
Of course, I am compassionate, not insane.

Mikey:

Raph:

Leo:
You know what, Raph? If you think you could do better, why don't you lead?

Raph:

[Both growl at each other. Mikey cuts in.]

Mikey:
We'll compromise. I'll lead.

[Raph and Leo give him death glares. Mikey smiles sheepishy and steps away.]

Leo:
Fine, Raph, the team's yours. I'm out of here. [walks away]

Mikey:
I can't believe he's gone.

Donnie:
Aw, don't worry, Mikey. Leo... just needs some space. [Mikey gives him an annoyed look] You meant the pizza guy, didn't you?

Mikey:
Yeah.

Karai:
You always talk to yourself?

Leonardo:
Sometimes I'm the only one who'll listen.

Karai:
I'll listen...when you beg for your life.

Leonardo:
Let's see how well you do against someone who can see.

Karai:
Let's see how you do against someone who's better than you.

Leonardo:
Let's see how you do against- Let's just go!

[The two start sparring playfully with their unique fighting styles]

Leonardo:
Judikai-interesting.

Karai:
Kojokiri- predictable.

Karai:
You're good. No wonder we haven't wiped you out yet.

Leonardo:
It's not like Shredder hasn't been trying.

Karai:
I know. It's all he ever talks about! Revenge, revenge. Vendetta, vendetta.

Leonardo:
Really. I take it you don't approve.

Karai:
No, I'm fine with it. I'm just saying, he needs a hobby.

Mikey:
So...

Don:
We're thinking somebody should start talking!

Leo:
I should have told you about Karai sooner, but I really thought there was a chance she would be good. And I guess I... sort of liked her. Go ahead, laugh.

Mikey:
Dude, I can't believe you trusted her.

Donnie:
I can't believe you didn't trust us enough to tell us.

Leo:
I was wrong, I'm really sorry.

April:
I tried to warn him.

Raph:
You too, huh?

Raphael:
Glad you came to your senses, bro.

Leonardo:
You're right. I don't know what I was thinking.

Raphael:
I can see why you think she's hot...in an evil kind of way.

Leonardo:
Don't worry. I am so over that.

[After Raph leaves, Leo looks dejected]

Donnie:
You okay?

Pulverizer:
Uh, sure. [groans] You can survive with just one kidney, right?

Raph:
Great, first this doofus gets in the way of a good Purple Dragon stomping, and now he knows where our lair is.

Pulverizer:
Oh, no problem. I blacked out most of the way here.

Donnie:
How do you even know we exist?

Pulverizer:
Oh, I saw you months ago. [to Leo] You were like, "Let's finish this!" [to Raph] Oh, and you were like, all, "You're going down!" [to Mikey] And then you were, like, all, "Bees!" [to Donnie] Oh, and you were like... you were like the strong, silent type.

Pulverizer:
[notices some Kraang tech] Hey, what's this? [picks up the Kraang tech, Donnie snatches it back] That looks like the stuff those guys were stealing.

Donnie:
That's impossible. It's Kraang tech.

Pulverizer:
[puzzled] What- what's a "Kraang"?

Raph:
If we told you, we'd have to kill you. [pauses] You see, the Kraang are aliens from another dimension. [Leo elbows him to stop]

Michelangelo:
[on the phone with Donnie] Donnie, we need help!! Raph's been bitten by a giant, poisonous, robotic fish!!

Donatello:
That's not possible! If he was bitten, then it's venom, not poison.

Michelangelo:
Interesting, interesting. GET OVER HERE!!

Donatello:
What are his symptoms?

Michelangelo:
He keeps telling me I'm the smartest guy he knows.

Donatello:
Okay, okay, he's delusional.

[Raph, Leo and Mikey try to push the Shellraiser]

Raph:
Are you sure the parking brake's not on?

Donnie:
For the hundredth time, YES! [notices that the parking brake is on] Oh, wait. [turns it off] Sorry, guys! Try it now.

Leo, Mikey and Raph:
DONNIE!

Donatello:
I know I've seen this symbol; it's so familiar.

Michelangelo:
The Olympics!

Don:

Mikey:
I got it! The Olympics!

Donnie:
Stop guessing! Obviously it's a Kraang signal.

Leo:
But from where?

Mikey:
The Olympics!

Donnie:
QUIT IT!!

Donnie:
It's beautiful. Uh, Scientifically speaking.

Raph:
Well, if you love it so much, why don't you marry it?

Mikey:
Do you, Donatello, take this portal to be your lawfully wedded....

Leo:
Knock it off!

Leo:
Halt, Kraang!

Kraang Droid:
The halting of Kraang would not be what the turtles shall be doing to Kraang.

Leo:
Wrong! The halting of Kraang would be exactly what the turtles... Just halt!

Mikey:
Alright, Roachie, it's time to meet your maker!

Donnie:
Wait, isn't that me?

Mikey:
Exactly. Go get 'im, tiger!

Raph:
I'm sorry I tried to smash you, OK? I'm sorry. I've learned a very important lesson. I'll never be cruel again, just leave me alone!

Mikey:
On one condition.

Raph:
Aah! Anything!

Mikey:
Be good to Michelangelo!

Raph:
Aaghh! [realizes what he just heard] What?!

Mikey:
Let him read your comics once in a while.

Raph:
[turns to see Mikey] MIKEY!!!! [kicks his shell]

Mikey:
Ow! So much for learning your lesson.

Mikey:
Hey, Baxtin!

Baxter:
It's Baxter.

Mikey:
I was wondering, what made you so interested in a career of super villainy?

Baxter:
Well, since you won't be around to read my autobiography, I'll tell you. I was a frail, and delicately sensitive young child.

Dogpound:
Well, there's a surprise.

Splinter:
I had intended to one day pass this on to my daughter. But I would like you to have it.

April:
It's beautiful.

Splinter:
Yes. And...

[throws the Tessen fan at the Sacred Tree]

April:
I think we found my weapon.

Karai:
I thought you were better than this! I thought you were my friend! How could you betray me! You're just as shortsighted and obsessed as Shredder!!

Leonardo:
You said yourself how bad Shredder is! Why are you protecting him!? You said he drives you crazy!

Karai:
He drives me crazy because he's my father!

Leonardo:
Your father!? Shredder is your father? You're Shredder's daughter?

[The Kraang ship flies closer]

Leo:
We gotta stop that thing!

Karai:
Our deal's off! You want a feud? You got one!

Raph:
Hey, the stealth bike's my thing!

Leo:
Now your thing is sucking it up.

Donnie:
Hey, that's my thing!

Donatello:
Leo, it's not that bad. You blew up the Kraang ship.

Leonardo:
[dejected] But I also blew our chance to get Karai on our side.

Raph:
Look, she's Shredder's daughter! His blood! She was never gonna be on our side!

Leo:
Yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe I just was believing what I wanted to.

Mikey:
I've been there, dude. For me, it was leprechauns.

Leo:
Are you seriously comparing what I am going through to the time you found out leprechauns aren't real?

Mikey:
Leprechauns aren't real!?

[the Shredder is a holding a squirming Kraang in his hand]

Shredder:
Why were you hunting the Turtles?!

[the Kraang only squeals in fear]

Karai:
They don't talk much outside their little houses.

[the Shredder puts the Kraang into its exo-suit, which it controls]

Kraang droid:
Kr-kr-Kraang is lacking the knowledge to answer the questions that the one known as Shredder is asking of Kraang.

Shredder:
[surprised] Do they all speak like this?

Kraang droid:
Even if Kraang is possessing the knowledge, the one known as Shredder will never be getting that knowledge from Kraang.

Karai:
You didn't have any other plans for today, did you?

Shredder:
Let's try this again! [unsheathes one of his gauntlet blades and points at the Kraang threateningly] Why were you hunting the Turtles!?

Kraang droid:
The Turtles are protecting the life-form that is needed by Kraang. The one known as April O'Neil.

Shredder:
Who is this April O'Neil?

Kraang droid:
She is the one known as "the one." She is the link that is missing in the plan of Kraang.

Karai:
So this April O'Neil is at the center of everything.

Shredder:
Then perhaps we can use her to bring the Turtles out of hiding. Karai, find this girl and bring her to me.

Karai:
What makes you so special!!? You're the center of an alien conspiracy, protected by mutants, and trained by a great ninja master!! Why!!

April:
I don't know!! I'm flunking trig! My friends are mutants! Aliens got my dad! And I lost my mother!

Karai:
What? You lost your mother?

April:
[recalls what Splinter had told her about unbalancing her opponent] AHHH!! [Flips Karai down the subway steps] Not bad for a nobody.

Mikey:
[with Leo's katana swords] Look, I'm Leo. [deeper pitched voice] Guys, shh. We have to be quiet. Ninjas are quiet. Quiet down.

[Raph and Donnie laugh]

Leo:
[offended] I sound nothing like that!

Raph:
[sarcastically] Yes, that's why we're laughing, because you sound nothing like that.

Pulverizer:
This is my chance to be like you guys. Once I mutate I'll unleash all my awesome mutant powers on Shredder.

Donnie:
Uh, doing the mutation thing is notoriously unpredictable and really stupid!

Mikey:
Hey, Raph! Fire the weapons!

Raph:
I don't think so.

Mikey:
See, that's your problem. If I were in charge of weapons, I'd be firing at things all the time. That mailbox, blam! That newsstand, boom! That port-a-potty, splat!

Leo:
And that's why you're not in charge of the weapons. Now get back to your station and tell me which way to go.

Mikey:
Hmm... okay. Uh, you should turn right. [Leo turns right] ...three blocks ago.

[Leo, Donnie and Raph groan.]

Raph:
Let's trash the place.

Leo:
Hold on, Raph. This is a recon mission. We go in there, find out what the Kraang are up to, and then we trash the place.

Raph:
Fine. Wake me when we get to the trashing part.

Raph:
I can't believe Mikey actually came through.

Leo:
I can't believe he fired the Shellraiser cannon inside the lair.

Mikey:
I told you you should let me shoot it more often. [eats some pizza and burps; to Donnie] Pizza me.

Donnie:
No, I'm not gonna "pizza you".

Mikey:
I guess you're right. It's not like I did something incredibly brave and saved your life.

Leo:
You did save our lives. But you also used my favorite comic book as TOILET PAPER!

Mikey:
Yeah, but I only did it so you'd chase me.

Leo:
Well, it worked! [starts chasing Mikey]

Mikey:
WAIT! STOP!

Leo:
MIKEY!

[Leo pounces on Mikey and beats him up]

Mikey:
I'M A HERO!

Donnie:
What the heck was that?

Raph:
I was just having some fun. You know how much Mikey loves the Donnie puppet.

Donnie:
Dude, April was watching.

Raph:
I'm pretty sure she liked it... too. Wait. You still think you have a shot with her?

Donnie:
Well... er, I mean-

Raph:
Wow. That's adorable and sad. It's "sadorable". Look, if you wanna impress April, better leave me out of it.

Leo:
Why would Donnie try to rescue April's dad by himself?

Raph:
Maybe because I told him he has no shot with April?

Leo:
What? Why would you say that?

Raph:
Because he has no shot with April!

Leo:
Well, yeah, but you don't tell him that!

Mikey:
The heart's a soft muscle, man. A soft muscle. Squish.

Karai:
Hey, there, Princess. Miss me?

April:
Yeah, actually. Last time I saw you, I forgot to give you this! [kicks Karai in the stomach]

Karai:
You've done well. Now take the message to Splinter.

April:
Dad, what are you doing?! Dad!? You brainwashed him!

Karai:
I know. Pretty cool, right?

Shredder:
Hamato Yoshi, so glad you could accept my invitation.

Splinter:
What have you done with April!?

Shredder:
Now that you are here, Miss O'Neil is no longer any use to me. I gave her to my new friends- the Kraang.

Splinter:
[horrified] You fool! Do you have any idea what you've done!?

Shredder:
[strikes Splinter from behind] Yes. I took your family away and I now I can put an end to you once and for all.

[Splinter reveals his mutated rat face to his former adopted brother]

Shredder:
[dumbfounded] What? A rat?! [chuckles mockingly] I see you are as hideous as those turtles that surround you. How fitting. You're a rat who has been caught in my trap.

Splinter:
Look closely at this face, Shredder.... [angrily] For it is the last thing youll ever see!

Splinter:
[to Shredder] Oroku Saki, you were once my friend. I thought of you as my brother. 15 years ago, I was a different man. I had everything I could want - a loving wife and a beautiful daughter. And you, my loyal friend, jealousy consumed you. You sought that which was mine! You took everything that I love! Everything! And still you hunt me down! So I fight you now to end this!

April:
Sensei, I want to apologize for the way I spoke to you earlier.

Splinter:
No need. You spoke what was in your heart. I am just relieved you made it home safely.

Leo:
What's wrong, sensei?

Splinter:
I learned some things from the Shredder.

Leo:
Like what?

Splinter:
That is a story for another time, Leonardo. Tonight is for celebration. After all, it's not everyday you save the world from an alien invasion.

Rise of the Turtles:
This marks the debut appearance of Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello and their master and father Splinter, April O'Neil, her father Kirby, and of course The Shredder the leader of the Foot Clan.
